600 delegates attended the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Dong province

On November 7, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province announced that the 1st Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2025-2030 term had 600 delegates attending, including 400 official delegates and invited delegates.

Lam Vien Ward - Da Lat is the first locality in Lam Dong to organize the Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Of the total 400 official delegates, there are 208 ex-officio delegates; 174 delegates elected by the Vietnam Fatherland Front of communes, wards, and special zones; 12 delegates representing member organizations and six appointed delegates.

Guest delegates, including representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the Central level and from neighboring provinces; leaders of Lam Dong province, former Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; departments, branches and Standing Committees of Party Committees of communes, wards and special zones in the province.

The 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Dong province, term 2025-2030, was held from November 24-25, in Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat.

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province organized to collect comments on the Draft Political Report to be submitted to the 1st Provincial Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front.

With the theme "Solidarity-Democracy-Consensus-Innovation-Development", the Political Report presented to the congress has the message: "Promoting the strength of great national unity; strengthening democracy and social consensus; arousing confidence and aspiration for innovation, building Lam Dong province to develop rapidly and sustainably, becoming a dynamic growth pole in the era of national growth".

Currently, the entire Lam Dong province has consulted to elect 6,774 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the commune level, for the 2025-2030 term, a decrease of 25.3% compared to before implementing the 2-level local government model, for the 2024-2029 term. The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the commune level of 124 communes, wards, and special zones has 625 members.

It is expected that the number of members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province for the first term, 2025-2030, will be 120 members; including heads representing member organizations, Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the commune level, outstanding individuals from all walks of life, and specialized officials of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province.

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province for the 2025-2030 term consists of 12 people, including the Chairman who is also the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and 11 Vice Chairmen.

As of September 30, Lam Dong province had 124/124 communes, wards and special zones successfully organizing the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2025-2030 term, ensuring content, form and progress according to regulations. This is the locality that completed the commune-level congress the earliest in the country.
