80 years of August Revolution: Venezuela considers Vietnam an example of resilience

The Venezuelan government affirmed that the victory of the August Revolution not only opened the path to independence for the Vietnamese people, but also lit up hope.

On August 19 local time, the Venezuelan Government sent warm congratulations to the Party, State and people of Vietnam on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution.

According to the VNA correspondent in Latin America, in a press release issued by the Venezuelan Ministry of Foreign Affairs , the Venezuelan Government emphasized that August 19, 1945 was a "historic milestone in the will and determination" of the Vietnamese people, demonstrating to the world their indomitable spirit and iron determination to master their own destiny."

The Venezuelan government affirmed that the victory of the August Revolution not only opened the path to independence for the Vietnamese people, but also lit up hope and became an example of resilience for peoples struggling for sovereignty and self-determination.

In particular, the statement affirmed that despite the passage of time, the heroic legacy of the Revolutionary Autumn has contributed to creating a vibrant and prosperous Vietnam today - a country that is considered a source of inspiration for the international community thanks to its dynamism and ability to rise strongly.

On this occasion, the Government of Venezuela reaffirmed its desire to continue strengthening the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation with Vietnam, and sent best wishes to the Party, Government and people of Vietnam for a peaceful, prosperous future and further victories.

Officially establishing diplomatic relations on December 18, 1989, Vietnam and Venezuela often share similar views in international forums, supporting multilateralism and South-South cooperation. In particular, Venezuela has always shown support for Vietnam in international issues.

As members of many international organizations and forums, Venezuela plays an important role in promoting relations between Vietnam and Latin American countries, while Vietnam is a key bridge between Venezuela and the Asian region in general and the member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)./.
