98 prisoners were pardoned on the occasion of April 30th holiday

Ca Mau Newspaper On May 1, 2025, at 2 units: Ca Mau Provincial Police Detention Camp and Cai Tau Detention Camp, located in Khanh An Commune, U Minh District, under Department C10, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with relevant agencies to organize the Ceremony to announce the President's 2025 amnesty decision for 98 prisoners serving their sentences at Cai Tau Detention Camp and Cai Tau Detention Camp, Provincial Police.

These are prisoners who have made a lot of progress, have a good sense of reform, comply with prison rules and regulations, actively study and work, ensure conditions, and meet the criteria for special pardon consideration according to regulations.

At Cai Tau Prison, 89 prisoners were granted amnesty bythe President . After the announcement ceremony, the prisoners were given personal belongings, support policies and identification cards for prisoners granted amnesty according to regulations.

Previously, Cai Tau Prison and the Provincial Police Detention Center coordinated with the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order to issue identification cards to prisoners eligible for amnesty, helping them to conveniently handle administrative procedures in the locality when they return.

Representatives of the pardoned prisoners expressed their joy at receiving the pardon decision and the lenient policy of the Party and State, and promised to return to the community to comply with regulations, work hard, and become useful citizens for their families and society.
