On behalf of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Most Venerable Thich Duc Thien hopes to receive the attention of provincial leaders, departments, and branches so that the event takes place solemnly, respectfully, and safely. In response to the Most Venerable, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Anh Chuc said that Ha Nam province and Tam Chuc pagoda are honored to welcome the relics of Buddha Shakyamuni to be enshrined at Tam Chuc pagoda on the occasion of the United Nations Vesak 2025. This is an event that will attract great attention from Buddhists inside and outside the province.
Ha Nam province is proud to be the locality that successfully organized the United Nations Vesak Festival in 2019, so Ha Nam committed to the working delegation and the Indian Embassy to ensure the absolute safety of the Buddha's relics - the national treasure of India. This is also an opportunity to honor the values of compassion, wisdom and solidarity, contributing to spreading the message of peace and sustainable development to the whole world.
