The conference was attended by 150 guests including representatives of large Korean corporations and enterprises, notably leaders of GS, SK, Hanwha Energy, Hyundai, Chairman of the Korea-Vietnam Economic Cooperation Committee, Bae Kim & Lee Law Firm (BKL), Korean economic cooperation associations; leaders and representatives of departments and branches of Nghe An, Quang Ninh and Tay Ninh, and representatives of Vietnamese Associations and Associations of Vietnamese Small and Medium Enterprises in Korea.

Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thai Binh, Minister Counselor, Second Representative of the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea, emphasized that the Conference is a practical and effective step to implement the results achieved during the State visit to Korea by General Secretary To Lam a month ago.
Vietnam and the Republic of Korea have become each other's leading economic partners in many fields since establishing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The three localities attending today's conference all have strategic positions and great potential for cooperation.
Accordingly, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thai Binh expressed her belief that with goodwill, potential and advantages, along with a creative spirit and strong determination, Vietnamese localities and Korean partners will have many opportunities to share visions, build ideas, and exchange on practical and effective cooperation projects, contributing to concretizing the action program to implement the Vietnam-Korea Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Representatives from Nghe An, Quang Tri and Tay Ninh provinces introduced their strategic locations, potentials, economic development, preferential policies, investment attraction of the localities as well as priority areas and specific cooperation projects of the provinces.
The leaders of the three localities expressed their readiness to welcome and accompany Korean partners to jointly implement cooperation projects.

Most Korean enterprises and associations have shown respect and appreciation for Vietnam's development in recent times, especially changes in administrative procedures, creating favorable conditions for the business environment and sustainable development, thereby contributing to the comprehensive strategic partnership.
Many businesses emphasize that not only large Korean businesses, notably Samsung, LG, GS, SK, but also small and medium-sized enterprises are reaping many successes when doing business in Vietnam, even evaluating Vietnam as an important bridge for Korean businesses to reach out to the world.
Delegates also stated that despite some challenges such as the complexity of administrative procedures, legal regulations, and lack of full understanding of each other's cultures, the potential and prospects for cooperation are still huge.

Korean businesses also said that Vietnam has chosen the right direction when promoting science and technology development, digital transformation, high-quality human resource development, renewable energy, infrastructure, etc. Delegates emphasized that these are the main methods for sustainable economic development, in line with the trend of the times.
In addition to creating new momentum for cooperation in traditional areas such as economics, trade and investment in a more sustainable and balanced direction, cooperation between the two countries still has quite a lot of room.

In his closing speech at the Conference, Ambassador Vu Ho highly appreciated the localities' close coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea to organize this event.
Affirming that the Vietnam-Korea relationship is a special, rapidly developing relationship with extensive cooperation, the Ambassador said that along with the region and the world, both countries are entering a new stage of development, innovation from the form of dialogue, to the method of cooperation and implementation.
The Ambassador emphasized that the parties' coordination and joint efforts to promote cooperation in key areas such as digital economy, innovation, high technology, clean energy, etc. are steps in line with the trend of the times.
Believing that small and medium-sized enterprises, which are the fundamental factors of economic activities, also need to be cared for, encouraged and supported, Ambassador Vu Ho believes that with the joint efforts of the two countries' senior leaders, the quick, active and effective participation of localities and sectors, Vietnam - Korea cooperation will increasingly develop, creating a foundation for the close relationship between the two peoples to flourish.
On this occasion, the Conference also held a Dialogue connecting Quang Tri province with Hanwha Energy Group and Tay Ninh province with GS Group.
