Ba Ria - Vung Tau: Which units do the 27 key officials who requested early retirement belong to?

On February 17, the Organizing Committee of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Party Committee announced that it had received applications for early retirement from 27 officials under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.

Of which, 5 officials who are members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee have applied for early retirement (including Mr. Luu Tai Doan - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; Huynh Van Danh - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee; Nguyen Van Xinh - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Committee; Mai Ngoc Thuan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Dinh Khoa - Secretary of the Vung Tau City Party Committee).

In addition, many key officials in agencies, units and localities have applied for early retirement. These include officials from the advisory and support agencies of the Provincial Party Committee and the Party Committee of the bloc, including: Nguyen Van Loi (Deputy Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee); Le Van Lam (Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department); Nguyen Thanh Huan (Deputy Head of the Inspection Committee); Tran Van Tam (Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the agencies and enterprises bloc)...

Leaders of the district, town, city Party Committee, departments, agencies and branches such as Mr. Nguyen Van Tham (Chairman of Phu My Town People's Committee); Nguyen Dinh Trung (Director of the Department of Culture and Sports); Do Dinh Quoc (Head of the Ethnic Minorities Committee) and about 8 Deputy Directors of departments and units... have submitted applications for early retirement.

The list of 27 officials will be submitted to the Provincial Party Committee for consideration. Based on the decision of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, some cases approved for early retirement may be announced soon on February 18.

Previously, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee approved the policy of issuing additional support for officials who apply for early retirement, in addition to the regime enjoyed under Decree 178 of the Government. On that basis, the Provincial People's Committee has completed the procedures and submitted to the Provincial People's Council for consideration of additional one-time support equal to 50% of the total subsidy budget for beneficiaries under the provisions of Articles 7, 9, and 10 of Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP.

The total estimated cost of implementing the province's additional support policy is about 322 billion VND.
