Three airports apply level 1 security control

QNgTV- The three international airports of Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat, and Da Nang will apply level 1 enhanced aviation security control until October 28 to serve the signing ceremony of the Hanoi Convention with the participation of nearly 100 countries and more than 100 international and regional organizations that have confirmed their attendance at the signing ceremony.

Airport security check

This is the first level of enhancement in Vietnam's three-level aviation security control system to prevent and promptly stop illegal interference in civil aviation.

This level is applied when there is information about a potential security threat or major international events taking place.

Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport 30-45 minutes earlier than usual to avoid affecting check-in time. Some actions such as document checks, security screening or baggage checks may be carried out more thoroughly.
