(Dan Tri) - Implementing Decree No. 73 of the Government, Bac Lieu province plans to spend more than 81 billion VND to reward cadres, civil servants and public employees.
On January 17, according to a source from Dan Tri reporter, the People's Committee of Bac Lieu province approved the budget for bonus regime for cadres, civil servants, and public employees (collectively referred to as cadres) according to Decree No. 73/2024/ND-CP dated June 30, 2024 of the Government .
The province has allocated more than VND81.7 billion for departments, branches and localities, of which more than VND21.7 billion is for provincial departments and branches and nearly VND60 billion is for district departments.

It is expected that Bac Lieu will have more than 15,600 people benefiting from the above decree, including public service units such as: Education and training; health; science and technology; culture and information; radio - television; physical education - sports; social security; economy ; state management and party, unions; associations;...
The provincial level has the most education and training units with more than 1,380 people, with an amount of over 8 billion VND; the least is the science and technology unit with 9 people, with an amount of 47 million VND.
In 7 district-level units, the most is Gia Rai town with more than 1,870 people, with the amount of 9.6 billion VND; the least is Vinh Loi district with more than 1,380 people, the amount of 7.9 billion VND.
On June 30, 2024, the Government issued Decree No. 73 regulating the basic salary and bonus regime for cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces.
This Decree stipulates the basic salary applicable to salary earners, allowances and bonus regimes applicable to salary earners working in agencies, organizations, public service units of the Party, State, Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and associations receiving state budget support for operating expenses at the Central level, provinces, centrally run cities, districts, towns, provincial cities, centrally run cities, communes, wards, towns, special administrative-economic units and armed forces.
The Decree takes effect from July 1, 2024.
According to the decree, by January 31 of the following year, if an agency or unit does not use up the year's bonus fund, it cannot transfer the source to the following year's bonus fund.
