As of June 2025, Bac Ninh province has 11 projects, completing 5,668 units, meeting about 50% of the target assigned by the Prime Minister of 10,686 social housing units in 2025.

Through reviewing 3 partially completed projects and 5 projects under construction (when completed, it will meet the demand of about 8,860 apartments), Bac Ninh strives to complete the target assigned by the Prime Minister .

In the first 5 months of the year, Bac Ninh province developed 2 more social housing projects within the 20% land fund of the urban area that the Provincial People's Committee has selected as investors, bringing the total number of projects undergoing compensation, site clearance and preparation for investment and construction to 24 projects, which when completed will meet the demand for about 53,675 apartments.

In addition, the province also approved the investment policy for 5 urban area projects with a 20% land fund to invest in building social housing, with a total social housing land area of 29.7 hectares, meeting about 12,500 apartments.

The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province continues to direct the Department of Construction and other departments and branches to urge projects under construction to accelerate progress to complete by 2025, focusing on site clearance for 24 projects under preparation for construction, contributing to meeting the housing needs of low-income people and workers, and completing the social housing targets assigned by the Prime Minister.

At the same time, actively propagate and disseminate Resolution No. 201 of the National Assembly to organizations and individuals, especially investors of social housing projects, to achieve the most positive results.

Mr. Ngo Tan Phuong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, said that, implementing the Government's direction, the province has established a Steering Committee to remove difficulties and obstacles, promote the development of social housing; proactively reviewed and planned land funds for social housing development, publicized the planning, attracted investors; organized dialogue conferences to remove difficulties for investors; and cut down administrative procedures related to social housing.

The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province requested departments, branches and localities to strengthen the dissemination of social housing policies to all classes of people; urge investors to speed up the progress of projects; focus on site clearance for social housing projects; investors to publicly announce social housing projects so that people can access the projects conveniently.
