“The 2025-2026 school year marks a special milestone , when Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo (13th tenure) on breakthroughs in education and training development was officially implemented. The Resolution not only creates a strategic push with comprehensive solutions, but also affirms the mindset of educational innovation towards forming a generation of people who are “both talented, compassionate and resilient”. This is a harmonious combination of national tradition, scientific spirit and the aspiration to reach out to the world.

Three pillars to protect the ideological foundation

In conjunction with the implementation of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW, the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau has promptly concretized the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation. According to Mr. Dang Tri Thu, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, the sector has identified three important pillars, which are propaganda and political and ideological education; raising awareness and political capacity; and proactively fighting in cyberspace.

Propaganda work has been expanded, starting with the dissemination of major policies of the Party and State, especially in the fields of education and digital transformation. Through the "Citizenship and Student Activity Week", many experiential activities, forums and clubs have become effective spaces to orient the ideology and foster ethics and lifestyle for the young generation.

At the same time, the Department directs educational institutions to build a standard school culture, implement a code of conduct, and maintain a "green - clean - beautiful - safe - friendly" environment. Political theory and local history are creatively integrated into the subjects of Literature, History, and Civic Education, helping students to absorb nature while still deeply imbued with revolutionary ideals.

Extracurricular activities are also a highlight: forums, seminars, and competitions to learn about the Party, Uncle Ho, and national history are held regularly, creating a lively atmosphere and helping students hone their skills and improve their "resistance" to false information.

In particular, in the context of strong development of social networks, the fight against bad and toxic information is considered a key task. Schools train students in critical thinking skills and disciplined speaking skills; promote the role of homeroom teachers and Youth Union organizations; encourage students to participate in online competitions to learn about the Party and Uncle Ho, thereby forming a proactive, alert and responsible young generation.

Responsibility of each individual

These solutions demonstrate the combination of education on ideals, ethics, and lifestyle with the application of technology and practical experience. The ultimate goal is to enhance students' "resistance" to distorted arguments, while at the same time arousing their desire to contribute, contributing to firmly protecting the Party's ideological foundation.

First of all, teachers must be role models of political courage; innovate teaching methods to creatively integrate political content; actively participate in the fight against erroneous and distorted views of hostile forces on cyberspace by sharing official information.

As for students, they need to proactively study and learn about Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh's thought, the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; raise awareness to identify false information, become "soldiers" on the ideological front by sharing positive information about the development achievements of their homeland and country, and spreading good values ​​and kindness in the community.
