At the ceremony, delegates listened to the Buddha's birthday message, Buddhist calendar 2569, from the Supreme Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha with the theme "Solidarity and tolerance for human dignity: Buddha's wisdom for world peace and sustainable development". This message aims to spread, propagate, and mobilize monks, nuns, and Buddhists to concentrate on practicing and progressing in the spirit of solidarity, tolerance, and nurturing inner peace for world peace, bringing happiness and peace to the world; continuing to make important contributions to the great national unity bloc, contributing to building a rich and civilized homeland.

In the province, in recent times, the Executive Committee of the Buddhist Sangha at all levels has actively encouraged dignitaries, monks, nuns, and Buddhists to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, preserve and promote the nation's fine customs, ethics, and cultural traditions; actively and effectively participate in patriotic emulation movements, social activities, humanitarian charity, economic development, maintaining social security and order, building cultural life in residential areas, and joining hands in building new rural areas. In the period of 2019 - 2024, the whole province has 855 pagodas, accounting for over 97% of the pagodas recognized as "4 exemplary pagodas", of which 243 pagodas have achieved the title of "4 exemplary pagodas" for 5 consecutive years.

Comrade Pham Van Nghiem, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of dignitaries, monks, nuns, and Buddhists in building the great national unity bloc, actively contributing to the socio-economic development of the province in recent times; at the same time, he sent his best wishes to the most venerable monks, nuns, monks, and all Buddhists in the province on the occasion of the Buddha's birthday, Buddhist calendar 2569. He suggested that in the coming time, the Provincial Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee and districts and cities actively propagate and mobilize monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies and laws of the State; be exemplary and actively participate in patriotic emulation movements in the locality; proactively coordinate with authorities at all levels, departments, branches, and functional agencies of the province in organizing religious activities in accordance with the law. Promoting the fine traditions of Buddhist culture, building a strong Buddhist Sangha of Thai Binh province, promoting goodness, eliminating superstition and heresy; preserving and promoting the national cultural identity; building and consolidating a team of intelligent and virtuous monks and nuns; strictly complying with the provisions of the law in Buddhist activities. Closely and regularly coordinating with functional agencies to promptly overcome limitations, bringing Buddhist activities in the province into order, ensuring the provisions of the law and the church. In particular, dignitaries, monks and nuns, Buddhists unite and join hands with all classes of people in the province to build the homeland to be increasingly rich, beautiful and civilized.
