Ensuring information technology infrastructure when arranging commune-level administrative units of Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc

(DN) - The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Document No. 76/BCĐ-SHTL dated May 12, 2025 on the plan to ensure information technology infrastructure to serve the activities of the Document Digitization Team and connect shared data after implementing the arrangement and merger of commune-level administrative units in Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc provinces.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the departments, branches, localities and telecommunications units to proactively implement 3 key contents. Firstly, ensure the connection line. The relevant departments, branches and units redesign the internal network system, ensuring synchronous connection between specialized software systems, especially in the fields of agriculture and environment. Specialized data transmission systems need to be reviewed, evaluated and upgraded to ensure efficiency and safety during operation.

Second, ensure internal information security. Relevant units such as the Department of Science and Technology, telecommunications units in Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc proactively coordinate, review, and propose technical solutions to ensure the availability and security of the network system at the newly formed commune level.

Third, ensure infrastructure and equipment for professional services. Accordingly, the People's Committees at district and city levels are responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and transferring high-configuration computers to professional departments in new communes; synthesizing needs, and reasonably allocating printers and A3 scanners to serve document digitization. In case the equipment does not meet the needs, it is possible to apply a shared plan between neighboring communes and integrate with document scanning software to optimize investment efficiency...
