Dan Tri Newspaper organizes a workshop on implementing ESG using science and technology

(Dan Tri) - The workshop "Implementing ESG with science and technology - From data to action" organized by Dan Tri newspaper took place on November 26 in Hanoi, within the framework of the Vietnam ESG Forum 2025.

The workshop “Implementing ESG with science and technology - From data to action” will be held by Dan Tri newspaper at 1:30 p.m. on November 26, at Pullman Hotel ( Hanoi ). The workshop is part of the series of events of the Vietnam ESG Forum 2025 with the theme "Science and technology and driving force for sustainable development".

Applying science and technology and data management is a story that many businesses are interested in, but how to deploy and integrate it into ESG implementation is not a simple story.

In the context of the whole world applying science and technology, the whole economy talking about digital transformation and businesses being encouraged to implement digital transformation in the spirit of Resolution 57 and Resolution 68, the question is what can businesses do internally to optimize ESG implementation by applying science and technology to operations and management?

The presentations and discussions of the speakers at the conference will contribute to answering this question. The speakers participating in the conference are experts and prestigious business leaders in Vietnam.

The workshop is expected to be attended by representatives of state management agencies and leaders of many large enterprises in many different fields. This event promises to bring multi-dimensional perspectives, frank exchanges on policy implementation practices, remove obstacles and propose solutions to promote ESG implementation through science and technology in particular and sustainable development in general.

The workshop “Implementing ESG with science and technology - From data to action” was held to clarify the role and impact of applying science and technology and data management in implementing ESG criteria (Environment - Society - Governance), with specific analysis for each component E, S, G.

In addition, the program is a forum for large enterprises and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to share experiences, tools and effective ESG implementation models, through typical case studies in the fields of production, trade and services, contributing to spreading the spirit of sustainable development in the business community.

The workshop also aims to propose solutions and policy recommendations to help businesses make better use of preferential capital sources and green credit in the spirit of Resolution 57 on science and technology development and Resolution 68 on private economic development, when demonstrating the effectiveness of applying science and technology in the process of business operation and management.

The Vietnam ESG Forum, initiated by Dan Tri newspaper in 2024, is an open forum for theoretical discussion as well as a practical foundation, guiding businesses to implement and integrate ESG into their business strategies, contributing to improving the position of businesses in the market and in the community, towards the goal of sustainable development.

After the launching ceremony on May 22, 2024, the Vietnam ESG Forum 2024 with the theme "Sustainable development strategy in the new era" had a series of events including 2 seminars in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, a writing contest, a series of online seminars, a large forum combined with the Vietnam ESG Awards 2024 honoring ceremony.

The ESG Vietnam Forum 2025 takes the theme "Science and technology and the driving force for sustainable development" closely following the spirit of a series of important resolutions. "Science and technology and the driving force for sustainable development" - the theme of this year's Forum is considered to be consistent with the spirit of Resolution 57 of the Politburo, which is to take science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation as the driving force for development.

Previously, on July 24, the Vietnam ESG Forum 2025 High-Level Council meeting took place. Experts in the Vietnam ESG Forum High-Level Council made many practical proposals, emphasizing the role of AI, digital technology... in promoting ESG implementation in Vietnam.

On August 14, Dan Tri newspaper also coordinated with the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City to organize a workshop on the topic "Implementing ESG with AI, what should businesses do?". Many practical AI application models were shared, providing a new perspective on how businesses can take advantage of technology to improve management efficiency, optimize costs and move towards sustainable development.
