After traveling over 300 km from Hanoi , the delegation of officials, reporters, and editors from VietnamPlus online newspaper arrived at the Vietnam-Laos National Martyrs Cemetery (Anh Son town, Anh Son district) when the July sun in Central Vietnam reached its most scorching and intense point.
At the Ho Chi Minh Memorial House and Martyrs' Memorial within the Vietnam-Laos National Martyrs' Cemetery, with heartfelt respect, the leaders of the editorial board and reporters and editors of VietnamPlus online newspaper respectfully offered incense to commemorate and pay tribute to the great President Ho Chi Minh and the martyrs – Vietnamese soldiers, volunteers, and experts who fought and bravely sacrificed themselves in Laos for the independence and freedom of their homeland, for the prosperity of the nation, and for noble international duties.

Immediately after the flower and incense offering ceremony at the monument and lighting incense sticks at the martyrs' graves, the editorial board, reporters, and editors of VietnamPlus online newspaper presented the Cemetery Management Board with 500 sets of stone incense burners and flower vases to be placed on the graves of the heroic martyrs; installed loudspeakers and incense burners at grave plot B11; and donated a hot and cold water dispenser to the Cemetery Management Board to serve visitors.
Mr. Tran Tien Duan, Editor-in-Chief of VietnamPlus online newspaper, said that every year, the unit carries out activities of gratitude and charity, especially during the historic month of July, when people nationwide, including journalists, turn their thoughts to their roots, remembering the heroic martyrs who fought and sacrificed bravely for the independence of the Fatherland and for noble international missions.
Continuing their charitable journey, the VietnamPlus online newspaper team traveled over 20 km along steep, mountainous roads with many high slopes and deep ravines on Provincial Road 534C, connecting the center of An Son district with villages bordering Vietnam and Laos, to reach the soldiers of Phuc Son Border Guard Post ( Nghe An Border Guard Command).

At Phuc Son Border Guard Station, the VietnamPlus online newspaper delegation presented the unit with a hot and cold water dispenser; and donated a "Borderland Medical Cabinet" (located at Cao Veu 2) worth 10 million VND.
In addition, VietnamPlus online newspaper organized the awarding of 29 scholarships to students of Phuc Son Junior High School, Cao Veu Primary School, and the "Helping Children Go to School" program sponsored by Phuc Son Border Guard Station. The awarding ceremony was attended by numerous officers and soldiers of Phuc Son Border Guard Station, teachers, and people in the border villages.
