Bao Lam: 34 typical products were awarded 3-star OCOP certification

(LĐ online) - On the afternoon of December 2, the OCOP Council of Bao Lam district held a Ceremony to Announce the Decision and award OCOP product certificates for the year 2024 to local entities.

Bao Lam district leaders awarded 3-star OCOP product certificates to the subjects.

Accordingly, in 2024, Bao Lam district will have 34 products from 14 entities awarded 3-star OCOP certificates. The products awarded 3-star OCOP certificates this time are typical and strong local products such as Oolong tea, coffee, durian, honey, honey juice and clean vegetables.

Specifically, Kim Dien Tea Company Limited (9 products); Gia Dai Viet Company Limited (4 products); Bien Duc coffee honey business household (3 products); Vietnam Aeroponic Agricultural Products Production and Trading Company Limited (3 products); Vietnam Aeroponic Clean Vegetable Production and Investment Company Limited, Vu Su Agricultural Production and Service Cooperative, Bui Dac Loc business household, Oganic Tea and Coffee Doi May business household, Bao Ngoc business household (each company, business household 2 products); Long Thuy Production and Trading Company Limited, Binh Dong Tea - Coffee Private Enterprise, Got Coffee Company Limited (each unit 1 product) and Pham My Anh business household (1 product).

Long Thuy durian is one of the 3-star OCOP products exported to the Chinese market, bringing high economic value.

3-star OCOP products continue to be typical rural products, with the subject improving quality, diversifying development; certifying product safety conditions, analyzing quality indicators; building and protecting logos, website brand identity, packaging systems, labels, etc.

It is known that, up to now, Bao Lam district has 64 OCOP products with 3-star and 4-star ratings, ensuring competitiveness in the domestic market and serving exports with high economic value. OCOP products are favored and trusted by customers thanks to their quality and unique product designs, contributing to affirming the position of local agricultural products.
