In the first 6 months of 2025, the Party Committee and Editorial Board of Nghe An Newspaper have made efforts to fulfill their tasks and achieved many encouraging results. The quality of publications in both form and content has been increasingly improved. The newspaper has maintained existing pages and columns, developed many new columns, and provided rich information, becoming "spiritual food" that is widely welcomed by readers.
Accordingly, in terms of publishing, from January 1, 2025 to June 10, 2025, Nghe An Newspaper has published 149 daily issues, 21 weekend issues and 3 special issues. On Nghe An Electronic Newspaper, 11,045 news and articles have been published. On average, 68.6 news and articles are published per day. The total number of visits is 24,427,327, an increase of more than 50% over the same period last year.
In the first 6 months of the year, Nghe An Newspaper cooperated with One CMS to build a specialized page on the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term (launched on June 17, 2025). With a modern interface, rich and updated content, "Specialized page on the Party Congresses at all levels of Nghe An province for the 2025-2030 term" of Nghe An Newspaper is an important information channel, contributing to the overall success of the Party Congresses at all levels in the province.
The Nghe An Newspaper Fanpage currently has 297,000 followers, an increase of 52% compared to the beginning of 2025 with 102,000 followers. On average, there are 80 to 100 short videos per month, and nearly 200 statuses per month. Many short videos have hundreds of thousands of views, and many statuses have thousands of interactions.
The Nghe An Newspaper Podcast has left an impression on listeners near and far. In particular, the Nghe An Newspaper Podcast has actively introduced new works by the young generation of writers, creating an attractive playground for new-generation writers, contributing to increasing brand recognition. In the first 5 months of 2025, with about 150 podcast episodes, Nghe An Newspaper has reached nearly 800,000 listens on Spotify.
Nghe An Newspaper TV channel continues to operate effectively, producing many programs, reports, and video clips of good quality and outstanding. Every day, the TV department produces 5-7 international news programs and international commentary; spreading hot current issues and events to readers, contributing to the good implementation of propaganda and social orientation tasks in the province.
As of June 10, the Nghe An Newspaper YouTube channel had 583,774 subscribers, an increase of 350% over the same period last year. The number of views in the first 6 months of the year reached 93 million views (25.7 million views over the same period last year, an increase of 350%); Total viewing time in the first 6 months was 8.56 million hours. The number of videos produced in the first 6 months was nearly 3,000 videos. Revenue from YouTube reached $44,323.57.
In the first 6 months of the year, Nghe An Newspaper's TikTok channel reached 59,457 followers. The channel reached 2,665,711 audiences, of which 84,245 were interactive viewers. The total number of clips produced was 97, receiving 3,419,599 views, 53,841 likes, 7,549 shares and 3,682 comments.
In the first 6 months of 2025, Nghe An Newspaper has raised nearly 772 million VND to organize social activities. Of which, the Newspaper has coordinated with units to present 464 Tet gifts to poor households, with a total value of nearly 232 million VND; coordinated to present 50 bunk beds, 1 freezer, 2 rice cookers to boarding students of Xieng My Primary School, worth 150 million VND; presented 180 gifts to poor people in Muong Tip and the area bordering Laos, worth 70 million VND; supported the construction of 5 houses for poor households (60 million VND/house) in difficult areas, with a total value of 300 million VND.
Won 31 Central, ministerial, sectoral and local press awards
With its achievements, in the first 6 months of 2025, Nghe An Newspaper has been awarded many awards and press prizes by central ministries, departments and branches. Specifically, Nghe An Newspaper was ranked Excellent by the Ministry of Information and Communications for digital transformation of the press in 2024. At the 9th National Press Award on Party Building (Golden Hammer and Sickle) - 2024, Nghe An Newspaper was honored as 1 of 3 press agencies with creative media products (along with Nhan Dan Newspaper and Voice of Vietnam Radio ).
Nghe An Newspaper was awarded 2 Certificates of Merit by the People's Committee of Nghe An province for its achievements in journalism in the period 2015-2025 and the movement to encourage learning in 2024. The Law - Readers Department and the Economic Department were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in 2024. 5 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit for their excellent performance in the period 2023-2024. Many other authors and groups of authors were awarded by the Provincial People's Committee.
Regarding press awards, in the first 6 months of 2025, Nghe An Newspaper won 31 press awards, an increase of 6 awards compared to the same period in 2024. Of which: 4 awards at the Ministry and Central sector levels, including: 1 excellent Golden Hammer and Sickle Award 2024; 1 B prize, 1 Encouragement prize at the National Assembly and People's Council Press Awards (Dien Hong Award); 1 B prize for gender equality; 1 Encouragement prize at the National Press Award.
At the provincial level, Nghe An Newspaper won 7 Golden Hammer and Sickle Awards of Nghe An province (02 First, 01 Second, 03 Third, 01 Excellent); 8 Nghe An Press Awards 2024 (02 First, 02 Second, 02 Third, 02 Encouragement); 3 awards in the Health sector (01 First, 01 Third, 01 Encouragement); 8 awards in Learning and Following Uncle Ho (01 First, 02 Second, 01 Third, 04 Encouragement).
In the work of Party building and development, Nghe An Newspaper has admitted 3 new Party members; proposed to prepare documents to request superiors to admit 2 people to the Party; sent 2 comrades to attend a new Party member training class, and 2 people to attend a Party sympathy training class.
On this occasion, Nghe An Newspaper organized a ceremony to reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in propagating events, in building content and form of the Party Congress pages at all levels for the 2025-2030 term...
Before the preliminary review session, the Nghe An Newspaper Party Committee announced Decision No. 3220-QD/TU of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee awarding the 30-year Party membership badge to Party member Nguyen Huu Tuan of the Nghe An Newspaper Party Committee.
