According to Maekyung reporter Hong Jang-won, Korean tourists like Vietnam for many reasons. Firstly, Vietnam's infrastructure is increasingly developing, meeting the needs of tourists. Secondly, tourists can spend a vacation at a relatively low price in major tourist destinations with beaches, such as Da Nang and Phu Quoc. In addition, airlines flying between Vietnam and Korea sell relatively cheap tickets. Due to competition between airlines, airfares are very reasonable. The fact that Korean entertainment programs have Vietnamese tourism content also increases the audience's interest in provinces and cities such as Da Lat, Mui Ne, and Hoi An. According to the Korean newspaper Travel Times, when surveying Koreans about the places they want to visit in Vietnam, 34% of the respondents answered "After coming to Vietnam, I want to visit other places". That number shows that the rate of Korean tourists returning to Vietnam is quite high. Social media channels and entertainment shows account for 31% of the factors that make Koreans want to visit Vietnam. Along with Nha Trang, the nearby city of Da Lat is also attracting Korean tourists. "Da Lat is about 3 hours by car from Nha Trang.
