Attending the workshop were comrades representing the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Culture and Sports of An Giang province; former leaders of Rach Gia Town Party Committee through different periods who participated in secret activities in the Rach Gia Town Party Committee base; departments and offices of Vinh Thong ward.

Rach Gia Town Party Committee Base is located in Phi Thong commune, now Vinh Thong ward, An Giang province with an area of about 10 hectares, is an important revolutionary historical relic of Rach Gia Town Party Committee during the resistance war to protect the Fatherland.

The project "Preserving and promoting the value of the Rach Gia Town Party Committee base area" chaired by Master Lam Van Liem, Vice Chairman of Vinh Thong Ward People's Committee, has been carried out from 2023 to present to record information, evaluate and analyze public awareness about the history of formation and development of the base area.

The research method was carried out through a sociological survey of three groups of veteran revolutionary cadres, local leaders and residents in the Soc Cung and Ta Tay areas of Phi Thong commune, Kien Giang province (now Vinh Thong ward, An Giang province).

On that basis, propose solutions on planning, propaganda, traditional education for the next generation, data digitization, survey, coordination activities in organizing implementation..., as a scientific basis for state management agencies in preserving and promoting the value of the Rach Gia Town Party Committee base in the coming time.
