The contest "Journalism Sharing with Teachers in 2025" aims to encourage journalists, reporters, editors and collaborators from press agencies and radio and television to learn, exploit and spread beautiful stories about teachers working in 248 communes, wards and special zones in border areas (after merging and implementing 2-level local government).
The press award is associated with the program "Sharing with teachers in 2025" organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training from 2015 to present. Over the past 10 years, the program has honored 576 teachers who have made many contributions to the education cause.

This year, the Organizing Committee received 263 nominations from 25 Vietnam Youth Unions of provinces, cities and Border Guards; of which 201 profiles were eligible for selection. There were 79 ethnic minority teachers, who were Y Bo, Bru - Van Kieu, Co Tu, Gie Trieng, Ha Nhi, Mong, Khmer, La Chi, Lao, Muong, Nung, Pa Co, Phu La, San Chay, Tay, and Thai.
Towards the program, Nghe An province has 15 individuals whose profiles were submitted for review by the Department of Education and Training and the Vietnam Youth Union of Nghe An province. Honorably, among the 15 individuals, 2 teachers were selected to be honored at this year's program. That is teacher Lau Y Pay (born in 1986) - a teacher working at Huoi Moi point, Tri Le Kindergarten - one of the schools in remote, border areas, areas with especially difficult socio-economic conditions, where 100% of the H'Mong ethnic people live.

Along with that is teacher Pham Thi Mai Quyen (born 1977), currently working at Dong Van Primary School (Thong Thu commune). As a lowland teacher who came to the village, teacher Mai Quyen always strives, strives, is not only an excellent teacher of the province, but also receives many certificates of merit from the district and the industry. She herself is also an energetic, active teacher, a pioneer in all movements. During many years of working as a homeroom teacher, she has had many students admitted to the district's Boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, and is trusted and entrusted by parents and students.
The remaining 13 teachers, although not yet selected to participate in the program, all have a passion to dedicate themselves to spreading knowledge and love in lands with many hardships.
From those records, the group of reporters from Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television has made a 3-part special issue: "Journey to spread letters in the Fatherland's border".

The work affirms serious investment and quality in terms of content and form through 3 parts: Part 1: Hearts return to the village; Part 2: Where love sprouts along the journey to the village; Part 3: Continuing the story of going to school in the border area.
Through that, we honor the teachers who are staying in their villages and schools every day, silently dedicating themselves to the cause of educating people in the border areas of the Fatherland. At the same time, we understand and share the difficulties and hardships of the teachers in the highlands to spread the sense of responsibility, love for the profession and the desire to contribute of the "people who sow letters" in the remote border areas.

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training approved and awarded prizes to 8 press works. Including 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 1 third prize and 5 consolation prizes.
