Football player Que Ngoc Hai and his wife were honored as "Happy Young Family"

(Dan Tri) - Football player Que Ngoc Hai and his wife Duong Thi Thuy Phuong have just been honored as the exemplary "Happy Young Family" of 2025. The couple hugged each other sweetly during the award ceremony.

Recently, in Hanoi , the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union honored 10 "Happy Young Families" in 2025. The family of football player Que Ngoc Hai and his wife Duong Thi Thuy Phuong, along with several other famous families, were honored.

Que Ngoc Hai (born in 1993) once said that he was captivated by Thuy Phuong's (born in 1995) beauty from the first time he met her. Despite being rejected, the Nghe An player still persistently pursued Thuy Phuong. After nearly 2 years, feeling Que Ngoc Hai's sincere feelings, the beauty agreed to be his girlfriend.

Ngoc Hai and his wife got married in January 2018. The player's family is living in Nghe An. The couple has 3 children (7 years old, 3 years old and under 1 year old).

Currently, Que Ngoc Hai is a football player for Dong A Thanh Hoa Club. In 2017, he won the National Cup with Song Lam Nghe An Club and received a certificate of merit from Nghe An province. In 2018, he won the AFF Cup with the Vietnam national team and received the 3rd class Labor Medal. In 2020, he won the V-League with The Cong Viettel Club and received a certificate of merit from the Ministry of National Defense and the 2020 Vietnam Bronze Ball award...

Meanwhile, his wife, Duong Thi Thuy Phuong, once won the title of Miss Vinh University and is quite a famous face in Nghe An. Currently, Thuy Phuong works freelance.

The 2025 "Happy Young Family" award ceremony has the theme "Together, we are home - Writing a journey of love".

Attending the program were Mr. Bui Quang Huy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union; Mr. Nguyen Tuong Lam - Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Youth Union of Vietnam and representatives of relevant units.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy - Member of the Central Standing Committee of the Youth Union, Permanent Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union - said that the program was deployed to spread the message of building happy young families, helping young people have a correct understanding of traditional Vietnamese family values.

Mr. Quy emphasized: “The Vietnam Youth Union hopes that each young person will be aware of their responsibility to their family, so that together we can build a prosperous, happy, and equal family. At the same time, we hope that when young people get married, they will clearly recognize the value of a happy family, thereby building a prosperous and happy country.”

Among the 10 families honored this year, the family of soccer player Que Ngoc Hai - Duong Thi Thuy Phuong, the family of TV MC Le Manh Cuong and Do Huong Giang (known through the programs Decent deeds, Loving leaves ), and the family of Lam A Ha - Vang Thi Thong appeared on the reality TV show Haha family .

At the program, along with other families, soccer player Que Ngoc Hai and his wife had a moment to give each other special gifts, showing love, sharing, and solidarity.

This is also the common point of 10 typical young families, despite different circumstances, they all build their families on the foundation of trust, respect, love, equality and sharing.

The families honored are officials, civil servants, business owners, police officers, editors, athletes... who actively participate in social work and strive to build a prosperous and happy life.

At the ceremony, 10 outstanding young families received Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam Youth Union, program logos and sponsor jewelry.

The "Happy Young Family" commendation ceremony in 2025 is part of the Youth Fest 2025 - Pride of Vietnamese Youth activities, towards the 69th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Youth Union (October 15, 1956 - October 15, 2025).
