Phu Tho Newspaper and PT-TH won second prize in the National Press Award "For the cause of Vietnamese Education" in 2025

On the evening of November 14, at Au Co Theater (Hanoi), the Ministry of Education and Training coordinated with the Central Propaganda Department, the Central Mass Mobilization Department, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam Journalists Association to organize the National Press Awards Ceremony "For the Cause of Vietnam's Education" in 2025. Attending were comrades: Nguyen Kim Son - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Education and Training; Le Hai Binh - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; along with representatives of leaders of ministries, branches, localities and award-winning authors.

Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son and a group of authors from Phu Tho Newspaper and PT-TH won the B Prize of the National Press Award "For the cause of Vietnamese Education" in 2025.

The National Press Award “For the Cause of Vietnam Education ” is an annual activity to honor journalistic works that have made positive contributions to the cause of education, spread humanistic values ​​and vividly reflect the innovations of the industry. In 2025, the Organizing Committee received more than 800 works in four types of journalism; 82 works entered the final round. The final round council selected 4 first prizes, 8 second prizes, 12 third prizes, 36 encouragement prizes and honored 2 outstanding figures.

Among the excellent works honored, Phu Tho Newspaper and PT-TH won second prize with the radio special work "Fostering the dreams of students in the highlands" by the group of authors Bui Thi Yen - Tran Thi Hoa - Nguyen Thi Thao Quyen - Nguyen Tran Nhat - Phan Thi Noi Ha - Luu Thi Hoa. The work impressed with its profound humanity, truly reflecting the teachers in the highlands of Phu Tho who diligently sow the seeds of knowledge in difficult conditions; at the same time spreading the spirit of sharing, encouraging the community to join hands to help ethnic minority students go to school.

This year's award marks the eighth time it has been held, continuing to affirm the role of the press in accompanying the education cause, contributing to honoring good values ​​and arousing faith and aspiration for innovation throughout society.
