Closing ceremony of training course, updating knowledge for source cadres for the term 2025-2030

(DN) - On the morning of June 7, the Standing Committee of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee coordinated with the Regional Political Academy II to close the training course to update knowledge for officials planning the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

Attending the closing ceremony, on the side of Dong Nai province, there were comrades: Nguyen Hong Linh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Ho Thanh Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee: Dang Minh Nguyet, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; Pham Xuan Ha, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Huynh Thanh Binh, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee and Dao Van Phuoc, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee.

On behalf of the Regional Political Academy II, there were Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Dung, Director of the Academy and managers of several departments and offices of the academy attending the closing ceremony.

Research on bringing the topic of Orientation and vision for sustainable development in Dong Nai into training classes at the Provincial Political School

According to the class organizers, there were 84 students attending the class.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hong Linh awarded certificates of course completion to students.

There are 8 topics presented: Vision, goals and orientations for national development to the mid-21st century and application to local development practices; steadfastness and creative application and development of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh's thought; local management and leadership skills; improving the Party's leadership and governing capacity in new conditions; controlling power and preventing and combating corruption and negativity in our country today; Ho Chi Minh's thought and our Party's on preventing and combating ideological, political, moral and lifestyle degradation and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation"; analytical and policy-making skills in the current context of digital transformation; orientation and vision for sustainable development in Dong Nai.

These topics were presented by lecturers and reporters in a profound and scientific manner, clarifying the theoretical and practical issues that are being raised; at the same time, integrating practical and typical examples related to the process of implementing political tasks at the grassroots level. Thereby, providing and supplementing valuable knowledge for students.

During the course, the Organizing Committee conducted a survey of the students' opinions, and the results showed that 100% of the opinions were very satisfied and pleased with the content of the 8 topics in the class. In particular, the topic of Orientation and vision for sustainable development in Dong Nai, which was directly implemented by Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Linh in person and online to all key officials from the province to the grassroots, received many positive reviews from the students.

Opinions say that this is a very necessary topic, helping Party committees, leaders, and heads gain useful knowledge, suggesting directions and scientific approaches for leadership and management work at the local level; supplementing knowledge, improving capacity and leadership skills of key staff, contributing to the sustainable development of Dong Nai.

Accordingly, there is a suggestion to include this topic in training courses at the Provincial Political School; or to upgrade this topic to a provincial-level scientific topic. From there, it will specify specific tasks and goals for Dong Nai in the process of moving towards sustainable development goals.

There are also suggestions that the Provincial Party Secretary should pay attention to implementing more topics for the province's staff, especially topics related to good models and scientific approaches in development practices in other localities and other countries that the Provincial Party Secretary has experienced in his work.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the course, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Thanh Son suggested that Party committees in the political system of the whole province continue to pay attention to and promote the training and fostering of cadres in conjunction with planning and arranging and using cadres to meet the political tasks of each sector and locality.
