On the evening of November 20, at the Provincial Cultural Center, the Provincial People's Committee held the closing ceremony of the Dak Lak Ethnic Culture Festival 2023 (Festival).
Attending the program were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee H'Yim Kđoh; leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors; leaders of districts, towns, cities and a large number of ethnic people in the province...

After 3 exciting days, the Festival completed its contents and programs and ended successfully.
At the closing ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Festival H'Yim Kđoh said that this was the first time the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee organized the Ethnic Culture Festival. The festival had the participation of 15 districts, towns and cities with the response of a large number of people and tourists, and became a major cultural event of the 49 ethnic groups in the province.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee H'Yim Kđoh emphasized that the success of the Festival is a driving force to encourage ethnic minorities in the province to strengthen the great solidarity bloc, promote economic , social, cultural, educational and national security development; actively preserve and promote good traditional cultural values. The Festival contributes to promoting potentials and strengths to attract investment in tourism development; spread traditional cultural values, unity in diversity of ethnic communities in the province.

At the closing ceremony, a large number of people and tourists enjoyed a special art program through performances by actors, singers, artists, artisans...
In particular, the “Demonstration of traditional costumes of ethnic groups in Dak Lak province” with the participation of artisans and mass actors from 15 districts, towns and cities; aims to introduce, promote and honor the traditional costume and cultural values of ethnic communities living in Dak Lak, contributing to arousing aspirations and pride in the traditional cultural identity of each ethnic group.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee of the Festival awarded A, B, C prizes to the winning units in two categories: "Displaying and introducing typical, outstanding cultural and tourism products, traditional cuisine of ethnic groups" and "Performing typical, outstanding cultural and artistic characteristics of ethnic groups". The Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 20 collectives for their achievements in organizing and participating in the Festival.
