EMCAS Cosmetic Hospital organizes a seminar on cosmetic regeneration

On September 17, an international conference with the theme "Updating new trends in cosmetic regenerative surgery and fat grafting" organized by EMCAS Cosmetic Hospital in collaboration with Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine took place in Ho Chi Minh City.

The workshop was attended by hundreds of experts, associate professors, famous doctors at home and abroad, and representatives from EMCAS Cosmetic Hospital; Department of Plastic Surgery, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, etc.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Dinh Tung - Professional Director of EMCAS Cosmetic Hospital delivered the opening speech of the workshop.

At the conference, three famous speakers including Dr. Amin Kalaaji, Chairman in charge of the General Secretary Group of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery; Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Dinh Tung, Professional Director of EMCAS Cosmetic Hospital and Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Hieu Liem, Head of the Department of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine presented 12 scientific reports on regenerative plastic surgery, the main topics revolved around breast, buttock and facial aesthetics using autologous fat; intimate area aesthetics; post-partum beauty and updates on safety guidelines, treatment solutions for different cases and methods to optimize results in cosmetic surgery.

Many papers related to the topic of new trends in cosmetic regenerative surgery and fat grafting were shared by Dr. Amin Kalaaji at the conference.

In particular, in the final session of the conference, Dr. Amin Kalaaji also provided valuable information on how to write a scientific article in a plastic surgery journal and how to write a book about the association's activities in the country where he lives.

Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Hieu Liem - Head of the Department of Plastic Surgery, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine presented a scientific report with the topic "Autologous fat: A miraculous filler and rejuvenation substance".

A representative of EMCAS Cosmetic Hospital said that the field of regenerative medicine and regenerative plastic surgery has been a strong development trend in recent years, with the global medical community devoting a lot of time and effort to research and clinical trials.

Not out of the world flow, Vietnamese doctors and experts are also making efforts to research to contribute to the development of this field. However, the opportunity to update information is still limited.

Next year's conference will have the return of Dr. Amin Kalaaji, Dr. Steven Cohen, Prof. Dr. Lee L. Pu, Prof. Dr. Owen A Ung and Prof. Dr. Jaroslav Michalek.
