Murdered when going to debtor's house to collect 14 million VND

On August 28, the Investigation Police Agency of Long An Province Police announced that it had just initiated a case, prosecuted the accused, and temporarily detained Nguyen Thanh Nhan (born in 2002, residing in Duc Lap Thuong Commune, Duc Hoa District, Long An Province) to investigate the act of "Murder".

Where the incident occurred

According to the initial investigation, on the afternoon of August 25, Mr. PTN went to Mrs. N's house to demand the amount of 14 million VND that Mrs. N had borrowed 5 months ago but had not yet paid. There, the two people had a conflict and argued.

At this time, Nhan (Mrs. N's son) took out a knife and chased and beat Mr. N, causing Mr. N to run away.

Angry at being chased and slashed by the debtor’s son, about 5 minutes later, Mr. N. took a knife and returned to Mrs. N.’s house to resolve the conflict. Upon arriving, Mr. N. and Nhan got into a fight. Mr. N. was seriously injured and had to be taken to the hospital for emergency treatment and died on the morning of August 26.

Currently, the case is being investigated and handled by Long An provincial authorities according to regulations.
