To commemorate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the first Party cell in Thanh Hoa province (June 25, 1930 - June 25, 2024) and to attend the voter consultation meeting on the merger of Dong Son district into Thanh Hoa city and the establishment of Rung Thong ward within Thanh Hoa city, on the morning of June 1st, a delegation from the province led by Comrade Do Trong Hung, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, laid flowers and offered incense at the Ham Ha revolutionary historical relic complex in Rung Thong town (Dong Son district) - the site where the first Party cell of Thanh Hoa province was established.

Provincial Party Secretary Do Trong Hung and members of the delegation paid tribute to and expressed gratitude to the predecessors and Communist fighters - the first Party members of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee.

Also participating were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Nguyen Van Hung, Head of the Provincial Party Organization Department; Nguyen Ngoc Tien, Head of the Provincial Party Internal Affairs Department; and leaders of provincial and Dong Son district departments and agencies.

Provincial Party Secretary Do Trong Hung and other members observed a minute of silence in remembrance of the predecessors and Communist fighters.

Ninety-four years ago, on June 25, 1930, under the leadership of the Northern Regional Party Committee, the Ham Ha Branch - the first Party branch in Thanh Hoa - was established in Ham Ha village, Kim Khe commune, now Ham Ha neighborhood, Rung Thong town (Dong Son).

The establishment of the Ham Ha Party Branch was a glorious milestone in the revolutionary movement in Dong Son before the August Revolution; it also laid the foundation for the establishment of the Dong Son District Party Committee in particular and the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee in general. This place also witnessed many important revolutionary activities during the early period of the resistance war.

Offering incense to commemorate and express gratitude to the predecessors, the Communist soldiers - the first Party members of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Comrade Do Trong Hung, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and other provincial and Dong Son district leaders expressed their deep emotion and gratitude for the unwavering revolutionary spirit and immense sacrifices of the predecessors in building and developing the Provincial Party Committee, creating important turning points for the revolutionary movement in Thanh Hoa.

Following in the tradition and example of previous generations, the Party Committee, government, military, and people of all ethnic groups in Thanh Hoa province pledge to unite wholeheartedly, determined to follow the path chosen by the Party and beloved President Ho Chi Minh, overcome all difficulties and challenges, continue to build upon achievements, seize opportunities, and develop socio -economic development rapidly and stably; striving to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, making Thanh Hoa a growth pole in the northern development quadrilateral of the Fatherland; becoming a model province as beloved President Ho Chi Minh wished during his lifetime, worthy of the glorious revolutionary tradition of our homeland.
