On the evening of April 27, news from the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee said that following the program of promoting and calling for investment in Germany, the Netherlands and France, the delegation of Soc Trang province led by Mr. Lam Van Man, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited, surveyed and worked at Harvest Waste BV Company (Kingdom of the Netherlands) to learn about waste treatment information.

The delegation visited and listened to representatives of Harvest Waste BV introduce the new generation of waste treatment technology process with support for collecting household waste and converting waste into highly efficient energy.
During the meeting, the Secretary of the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee informed about the province's allocation of 5.5 hectares of land for calling for investment in a solid waste power plant project; at the same time, he said that the province is urgently implementing steps to prepare for the auction of land use rights to implement the project.
The Secretary of Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the green and modern technology of Harvest Waste BV Company, the emission parameters of exhaust gas, ash, and wastewater after solid waste treatment meet European standards, very suitable for the province's investment attraction orientation, contributing to effectively solving the problem of solid waste treatment in the province.
"The Waste-to-Energy Plant Project in Soc Trang is of key importance in reducing environmental pollution, creating clean electricity sources, and contributing to the sustainable development of the province. I hope that Harvest Waste BV will strictly comply with investment laws for foreign investors," emphasized Mr. Lam Van Man.

With the permission of the Standing Secretariat, from April 19 to 28, a delegation from Soc Trang province will travel to Germany, the Netherlands, and France to promote investment in renewable energy and the environment (waste treatment); at the same time, learn and exchange experiences in investment, management, and development of wind power.
