(NLĐO) - Samantha Fox, a music and fashion icon of the 1980s, said that she had previously toured throughout Asia but had never been to Vietnam.

Performing in Vietnam for the first time as part of the international music project "Dalat Spring Concert," Samantha Fox said that Vietnam was a place she had always wanted to visit, as she had only seen it through pictures. "To me, it's a mysterious and beautiful land," the artist said.

Samantha Fox is always full of energy when it comes to music.

The 80s music icon added that she is very, very excited to perform for her lovely fans in Vietnam for the first time. She also hopes to return soon to perform more shows for her fans.

The singer expressed her excitement at meeting Vietnamese fans, experiencing the culture and architecture, and couldn't wait to enjoy the food here.

For the first time, the "sex symbol" of the UK is coming to Vietnam to perform.

"Since this time I'm only here to perform for one night, I'm planning to return to Vietnam in the new year with a longer vacation. I'll make sure to give you all a fantastic show. It will be full of inspiration and energy, and I'll perform all the familiar songs from the 1980s to the present day," said Samantha Fox.

On the evening of December 21st, the "Dalat Spring Concert" will mark the first time the "sex symbol" of the UK has come to perform in Vietnam. Samantha Fox will join Boney M, Liz Mitchell, and Joy – familiar names not only in the world of Disco music but also from the golden age of popular culture in the 1980s – to share the stage and perform for free for the audience at Lam Vien Square, Dalat City, Lam Dong Province.

Samantha Fox created a powerful wave of influence among young people in the 1980s.

This also marks the first time that IB Group Vietnam has invited a host of world-class artists to perform in the city of a thousand flowers at a year-end festival.

Originally a model, Samantha Fox began focusing on her music career in 1986 with her debut album "Touch Me". The blonde beauty quickly won over audiences with her vibrant pop melodies combined with the popular dance music of the 80s.

The song "Touch Me (I Want Your Body)" not only topped the charts in the UK but also spread throughout Europe and America, becoming one of the iconic songs of the decade. To this day, this hit is still heard daily in many places around the world because of its catchy melody and powerful energy.

Samantha Fox not only defined her own fashion style but also created a powerful wave of influence on young people in the 1980s. With her distinctive personal style, she broke down the rigid barriers of traditional fashion, ushering in a new era where individuality and rebellion were celebrated.

The 1980s were a boom period for pop culture, and Samantha Fox was one of the iconic figures representing a style that was sexy, glamorous, yet strong and individualistic.

Biker leather jackets paired with crop tops or sparkly bodysuits showcase boldness and sexiness without sacrificing confidence and power. This style encourages young people to break free from stereotypes and explore their individuality through fashion.
