The Armored Corps is assigned to manage a large number of technical equipment for vehicles and motorcycles, with many types. The technical work on vehicles and motorcycles has significantly contributed to improving the quality of combat readiness, training, education and effectively implementing the Campaign "Management and exploitation of good, durable, safe, economical and traffic-safe technical weapons and equipment" of the Corps. Through the competition, the Corps will evaluate the results of the implementation of technical work on vehicles and motorcycles in the past time, at the same time well implement Resolution No. 1656 of the Central Military Commission on leading technical work until 2030 and the following years; continue to effectively implement the Campaign 50.

Speaking at the competition, Colonel Phan Hai Long said that the Organizing Committee has made great efforts in implementing the preparation work, closely coordinating with agencies and units, completing and issuing a system of directive documents, coordinating the preparation of technical equipment and facilities for the competition to take place as planned. The Deputy Commander of the Armored Corps requested: The Organizing Committee and the Jury of the Good Car, Good Driver Competition work with the highest sense of responsibility; be honest, objective and fair in scoring to select units with good achievements to participate in the military-level competition with the highest results. Participating units need to prepare well in all aspects and facilities, and implement well with the slogan "Determination to compete for the highest results in the Good Car, Good Driver Competition in 2023", closely coordinating with the Organizing Committee and the Jury so that the competition takes place as planned, with absolute safety for people and technical equipment.

The Corps organized the 2023 Good Car, Good Driver Contest at 9 basic units. Immediately after the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee and the Jury conducted the judging of the following categories: Good Car Contest, Awareness Contest, Topic Contest, Technical Innovation Initiative Contest and Good Driver Contest at the 215th Tank Brigade. This is the unit chosen to host the opening ceremony of the Corps-level contest. Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Binh Hung, Deputy Brigade Commander of the 215th Tank Brigade, Armored Corps, said that the unit has made efforts to prepare well for the opening ceremony and the sightseeing and participation categories of the contest in accordance with regulations and instructions. Cadres, professional soldiers, and technical staff proactively equipped themselves with full knowledge and skills, ready to enter the contest with the determination to achieve the best results.

Through the competition, participating units of the Armored Corps will draw necessary lessons in directing the improvement of quality, discipline and regularity of technical work in general, and vehicle technical work in particular, contributing to improving the synchronous quality of technical equipment and the level of management and exploitation of technical equipment, and the ability to complete the tasks of the Corps in all situations.
