Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Command supports Yen Nhan commune to overcome the consequences of storm No. 5

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Right on the National Day holiday of September 2, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Command mobilized more than 100 officers and soldiers of Regiment 762 and the Defense Command of Region 3 - Ngoc Lac along with local militia forces to march to Yen Nhan commune, urgently helping people overcome the consequences of storm No. 5.

The forces focused on cleaning and repairing Yen Nhan 1 Primary School, Yen Nhan 2 Primary School, Yen Nhan Kindergarten and Secondary School, ensuring that the schools could open on time as planned. Along with that, officers and soldiers also coordinated with local authorities to support people in cleaning their houses and stabilizing their lives.

According to statistics in Yen Nhan commune, 25 houses collapsed completely, 66 houses were severely damaged, 67 houses were severely damaged and 164 houses were damaged about 30%. Currently, officers and soldiers of Regiment 762, Provincial Military Command; local militia and functional forces are taking steps to overcome the consequences, helping local people quickly stabilize their lives.
