Ministry of Industry and Trade seeks comments on Circular guiding basic design of mineral exploitation projects

Pursuant to the provisions of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has organized to collect opinions and consult on the policy of the Circular regulating the basic design content of mineral exploitation investment projects and mine design.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has sent the Draft Circular on Basic Design of Mineral Exploitation Investment Projects and Mine Design to seek opinions from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; the Ministries of Justice, Construction, Agriculture and Environment, Science and Technology; the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry; the People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities; industry associations, research institutes, corporations, groups and related organizations and individuals through the following forms:

Send documents to solicit opinions to 86 units (in Document No. 1778/BCT-CN dated March 12, 2025); post on the Government 's and the Ministry of Industry and Trade's electronic information portals to solicit public opinions from agencies, organizations and individuals as prescribed; implement regulations on developing communication content on draft legal documents.

Specifically, as of April 28, 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has received comments from 66/86 agencies, organizations, units, and localities.
