Army units continue to stay at heavily flooded communes and wards such as Quy Nhon Bac, Quy Nhon Dong, Tuy Phuoc, Tuy Phuoc Dong... to work with local forces to clean up and overcome the consequences.

From early morning, 100 officers and soldiers of Brigade 368 were present at Nhon Binh Secondary School (Quy Nhon Dong Ward) to clear mud, clean the school yard, desks, chairs, and classrooms to welcome students back soon.
The flood caused the school to be submerged 1.5-2 meters deep, severely damaging many facilities, teaching equipment, and books. “The flood receded slowly, and only today has Quy Nhon Dong basically run out of water. Thanks to the support of the army, the recovery work has been accelerated to welcome students back to school soon,” said Mr. Nguyen Van Son, Principal of Nhon Binh Secondary School.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Dieu, Deputy Brigade Commander of Brigade 368, said that from November 21 to 23, the unit mobilized forces to support Nhon Binh kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools in cleaning the schoolyard, tables, chairs, classrooms, and cleaning up wet documents, books, and lesson plans. "The unit is working with the highest sense of responsibility to help the school return to normal soon," Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Dieu emphasized.

Mr. Huynh Ngoc Hoang, Secretary of the Quy Nhon Dong Ward Party Committee, said that the locality is having 450 officers and soldiers participating in overcoming the consequences of the recent flood.
Of which, the Provincial Military Command mobilized 300 officers and soldiers to clean the environment in neighborhoods 7, 8, 9; Brigade 368 supported 100 officers and soldiers at schools; Navy Squadron 48 mobilized 50 officers and soldiers to participate in environmental sanitation.

“In the past few days, the ward has provided 10,000 meals, drinking water and necessities to ensure that people do not go hungry or cold. In the coming time, following the direction of the province, Quy Nhon Dong ward will implement support policies to help people stabilize their lives after the flood," Mr. Hoang added.
In the Tuy Phuoc flood area ( Gia Lai province), Major Vo Van Tin, Captain of Company 9, Battalion 3, Brigade 573 said: From November 18, when heavy rain and floods occurred, the unit received orders to move to the Tuy Phuoc flood area to support people in flood prevention. After the flood, the unit continued to maintain 50 officers and soldiers to help the locality overcome the consequences and soon stabilize life.

“We prioritize supporting schools to quickly fix basic, essential items to soon resume teaching and learning. The motto is to clean up as soon as possible, then move on to another school after finishing one school. Only when the flooded area is truly restored will we return to take on new tasks,” Major Vo Van Tin shared.
