Arrange and urgently evacuate households in old apartment buildings that are dangerous due to the impact of Storm No. 3

(Haiphong.gov.vn) – To ensure the safety of people's lives and property during the storm season, the City People's Committee has just agreed to the proposal of the Department of Construction on the arrangement and relocation of households in old apartment buildings that are dangerous due to the impact of Storm No. 3.

Van My apartment complex is in a dangerous state of disrepair.

Accordingly, it is agreed to urgently relocate about 100 households in Van My Apartment Complex with dangerously degraded housing conditions, temporarily arranged on the commercial - service floors of HH1-HH2, HH3-HH4 Dong Quoc Binh Apartment Complex, Ngo Quyen District. Ngo Quyen District People's Committee is assigned to coordinate with Hai Phong Housing Management and Trading One Member Co., Ltd. to urgently complete relevant records and documents according to the expected list of records to arrange, organize and relocate households immediately after the principles are approved.

Regarding the emergency arrangement for about 230 households in Van My Apartment Complex in Ngo Quyen District and Apartment Complex in Hong Bang District which are in a dangerous state of degradation and at risk of collapse. The City People's Committee agreed to temporarily use the 5-storey Kenh Duong Apartment Complex and the 5-storey Khuc Thua Du Apartment Complex, specifically, at the 5-storey Khuc Thua Du Apartment Complex: arrange for 100 households in Ngo Quyen District and 30 households in Hong Bang District; at the 5-storey Kenh Duong Apartment Complex, arrange for 100 households in Ngo Quyen District. The expected maximum time is 2 months.

The City People's Committee assigned Hai Phong Housing Management and Trading Company Limited to prepare the minimum facilities to serve the people; assigned the People's Committees of Ngo Quyen and Hong Bang districts to preside with the Department of Construction and Hai Phong Housing Management and Trading Company Limited to arrange, classify the number of people actually living in the old apartment building and organize a lottery (the temporary residence arrangement is carried out according to the lottery principle, linked to the number of people actually living in accordance with the area of the temporary apartment); instructed people who are arranged for temporary residence to commit to returning the temporary residence after the temporary residence period ends. Implement the recovery of the temporary residence after the temporary residence period ends.

Assign Hai Phong Electricity Company Limited to coordinate with the People's Committees of Ngo Quyen and Hong Bang districts, and Hai Phong Housing Management and Trading Company Limited to connect electricity to ensure people's livelihood.

Assign the Department of Construction to inspect, supervise and guide the People's Committees of Ngo Quyen and Hong Bang districts and Hai Phong Housing Management and Trading Company Limited to implement according to regulations; synthesize and report to the City People's Committee on the implementation results. At the same time, preside with the People's Committee of Le Chan district and Hai Phong Housing Management and Trading Company Limited to urgently review households living in dangerously degraded housing conditions at risk of collapse in the district./.
