"Little flower" of Tay Giang mountains and forests

(QNO) - With outstanding achievements in studying and children's movement, Co Tu girl Alang Thi Bao Tuyet (class 5/1, Lang Commune Primary School, Tay Giang) was honored to be one of 8 children from Quang Nam selected to attend the 10th National Uncle Ho's Good Children Congress - 2025, which recently took place in Hanoi.

The difficult life seemed to give Alang Thi Bao Tuyet more motivation to overcome obstacles and successfully complete her studies. Regardless of sunny or rainy days, this poor Co Tu student still diligently goes to school to learn.

Alang Thi Bao Tuyet shared that the difficult circumstances have tempered her strong will and spirit of continuous learning. For 4 consecutive years, Bao Tuyet has been an excellent student of the school and has been recognized and rewarded many times by Tay Giang district.

Not only is Bao Tuyet a good student, she is also an exemplary and responsible team leader. She actively participates in team activities and is a core member of the local youth propaganda team. In addition, Bao Tuyet is also capable of storytelling and performing cultural performances imbued with the highland identity.

"What I like most is telling stories about President Ho Chi Minh's example and morality for everyone to hear. Because each story helps me learn many good things and right things from Uncle Ho" - Alang Thi Bao Tuyet confided.

Over the years, Alang Thi Bao Tuyet has continuously achieved outstanding results at district and provincial level competitions. Typically, she and her team won the Second Prize at the District English Olympic Competition; Third Prize at the Provincial English Olympic Competition in the 2023-2024 school year; and First Prize in the "Presenting Dream Ideas" competition at the Provincial Vietnamese Language Exchange in the 2024-2025 school year.

In addition, Alang Thi Bao Tuyet also won high prizes in sports , arts, wall newspapers and STEM experience movements at school. She is also an artistic nucleus participating in many art programs of mountainous localities...

Alang Thi Bao Tuyet said that in the future, she dreams of becoming a teacher to contribute a little more to teaching and learning in her hometown, creating opportunities for children in mountainous areas to go to school and prevent them from dropping out of school.

Mr. Arat Hoang - Secretary of Tay Giang District Youth Union said that many programs and movements of the Young Pioneer Team always have the participation of Alang Thi Bao Tuyet. Although life is still difficult, with her efforts, Bao Tuyet is like a wild flower spreading fragrance in the middle of the forest.

"Alang Thi Bao Tuyet is not only the pride of her family, teachers and friends, but also a typical representative of the studious spirit and overcoming difficulties of ethnic minority children in Tay Giang.

Hopefully, Bao Tuyet's example of overcoming difficulties will continue to be replicated, spreading the spirit of learning to students in mountainous areas in the coming time" - said Mr. Arat Hoang.
