BYD Seal 07 EV all-electric version revealed, specifications leaked ahead of launch.

The BYD Seal electric sedan will be renamed BYD Seal 07 EV 2026 after the facelifted version is launched with a 240kW motor and LiDAR sensors.

The current generation BYD Seal 07 DM-i plug-in hybrid, set to launch in September 2025, has been upgraded with roof-mounted LiDAR sensors and the “God's Eye-B” (DiPilot 300) intelligent driving system.

Following the hybrid version, the all-electric BYD Seal will also be updated, also with a new name, Seal 07. Registration documents for the vehicle in China have detailed its dimensions and technical specifications ahead of its launch.

The BYD Seal 07 DM-i measures 4,995mm in length, 1,900mm in width, and 1,495mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,900mm. The upcoming Seal 07 electric model has the same length and wheelbase but is slightly wider at 1,910mm.

Both the BYD Seal 07 DM-i and Seal 07 EV models retain BYD's "Ocean Aesthetics" exterior styling and advanced driver-assistance features. The front end is highlighted by a closed grille, narrow headlights, and a three-tiered air intake.

At the rear, the vehicle features full-width taillights, complemented by chrome trim along the top edge. A roof-mounted LiDAR sensor indicates its ability to support advanced driver assistance functions.

The vehicle uses a TZ200XYAT electric motor manufactured by BYD in Nanjing, with a power output of up to 240kW. Energy is stored in lithium iron phosphate batteries supplied by Zhengzhou Fudi Battery Co., Ltd. Registration documents do not provide battery capacity or estimated driving range.

Current Seal 07 DM-i models with hybrid powertrains are priced from 149,800 to 186,800 yuan (558.3 ​​- 696.3 million VND). The price of the EV version has not yet been revealed.

The BYD Seal 07 EV all-electric sedan is expected to launch in its home market of China next year, followed by other markets, and very likely soon in Vietnam.
