How to look up the Certificate of automatic renewal of family car inspection cycle

This certificate is an inseparable accompanying document of the Inspection Certificate issued for participation in road traffic as prescribed.

The Vietnam Register will provide an account to look up information confirming the validity period of the Inspection Certificate and Inspection Stamp for the authorities to serve the patrol, control, violation handling, and resolution of incidents related to road motor vehicles.

On June 3, the system will update vehicles due for inspection until June 10.

How to check the validity of certificates and inspection stamps

Step 1:

Access the website of the Vietnam Register http://www.vr.org.vn/, go to "Inspection renewal lookup", the website will appear: https://giahanxcg.vr.org.vn, the screen will look like this:

Step 2:

Enter the following information: Registration plate, inspection certificate serial number, verification code then press the "Search" key. In case the issued certificate is subject to renewal, the result will be displayed as the following screen:

Vehicle owners click on the link containing the Inspection Information Confirmation. Then click on the link to view and print the Confirmation for use when participating in traffic.

The Vietnam Register gives priority to creating certificate files for vehicles with the most recent inspection date first.

On June 3, files of vehicles with inspection deadlines from June 3 to June 10 will be uploaded.

Vehicles with inspection deadlines until June 30 will be uploaded to the system before June 10 and it is expected that the file creation for all vehicles will be completed before June 30.

Due to the sudden increase in the number of visitors to the website of the Department of Registration, the homepage is overloaded. To look up information on renewing the inspection certificate, vehicle owners can directly access the address https://giahanxcg.vr.org.vn.
