Renovation and upgrading of Cham Sculpture Museum and Trung Vuong Theatre

Accordingly, Da Nang City approved the investment policy for the project to renovate, repair and upgrade the Cham Sculpture Museum (No. 2, 2/9 Street, Hai Chau District) with a total investment of 14 billion VND from the city budget; project implementation period 2024-2026.

The project will renovate the following items: fence system, gate; heat insulation; waterproofing; landscape, garden; toilet; electricity, water and tree systems. At the same time, carry out relocation and preservation of artifacts.

Inside the Cham Sculpture Museum, many areas have been severely degraded over time.

Along with that, the People's Committee of Da Nang City approved the investment policy for the project to upgrade and renovate Trung Vuong Theater (Hai Chau District) with a total investment of more than 13.9 billion VND from the city budget; implementation period 2024-2026.

This project will invest in upgrading and renovating the following items: interior of the hall; renovating degraded restrooms; replacing 06 roof water tanks and rusty water pipes; adding shut-off valves, foaming air-conditioning pipes... for the central air-conditioning system;

Replace the corrugated iron roof of the hall, remove and re-tile the roof floor, remove and replace the purlin system and corrugated iron roof at the 4 corners of the building; Replace the corridor lighting system; Add exit lights and emergency lights; New plastering and finishing paint on the basement pillars; Complete protective tiling of the pillars;

Renovating the roof system of the 4 corners of the building; Replacing the existing corrugated iron roof system; Repainting the door system to the grandstand with PU; Replacing the glass railing system at the 3rd floor atrium with tempered glass; Removing the wooden cladding on the top of the railing seat and installing new granite; Rolling mastic to paint the corridor wall; Arranging the lighting system for the theater facade; Replacing some cracked tempered glass positions....

In addition, the project of the West Park of Thoai Ngoc Hau Temple (Son Tra District) was also approved, the project has a total area of ​​about 6,558m2; total investment of more than 70.9 billion VND from the city budget. Implementation period is 2022-2025.

The project includes the following items: Central Park with a total area of ​​2,252m2; Administration and restroom building, kiosk; Water supply; Rainwater drainage; Traffic, parking lot; Relief; Equipment; Compensation, support and resettlement plan.
