As an electric car model targeting young customers aged 25-35, Jaecoo J6 has a square design and a high-tech interior.

The new Jaecoo J6 EV 2025 is a model that has been scheduled to be sold in the Vietnamese market this year. This information was announced by Omoda & Jaecoo since 2024. As planned, the first Jaecoo J6s have recently arrived in Vietnam. However, the launch date and price of this model in Vietnam are still unknown.

Before Vietnam, the Jaecoo J6 EV 2025 electric SUV was launched in some Southeast Asian markets such as Thailand and Malaysia. This is the next model of the Jaecoo brand under Chery, after the J7 and J8. The Jaecoo J6 has dimensions of length x width x height of 4,406 x 1,910 x 1,715 mm and a wheelbase of 2,715 mm.

Thus, this car model has a size between the B-size and C-size SUV segments. As an electric car model targeting young customers aged 25-35, Jaecoo J6 has a square design, reminiscent of the luxury SUV Land Rover Defender. In the Chinese market, this car model is known by another name, Chery iCar 03.

As a result, the car has many "i" shaped exterior details such as vertical headlights and taillights. In addition, the Jaecoo J6 is also equipped with prominent wheel arch covers, hidden door handles, 2 high-mounted brake lights in the style of Formula 1 racing cars and a backpack-like storage box located on the rear trunk door.

Black exterior details such as the front bumper, corner panels, side skirts, pillars, roof, roof rack, rearview mirror covers and rear bumper give the car a strong appearance. Depending on the version, the car will use 18-inch or 19-inch rims. Inside the Jaecoo J6 is a 2-row interior with 5 seats.

Here, the car has a 2-level dashboard, a beveled steering wheel with integrated function keys, large air-conditioning vents and a floating central control cluster, allowing flexible movement between the 2 front seats.

The car's amenities are quite rich with a 9.2-inch digital dashboard, a central touch screen up to 15.6 inches in size with video games and karaoke applications, 2 50W wireless phone chargers as well as a 4-zone voice command system, which can be used to control most features.

In addition, the car also has an electronic handbrake, automatic temporary brake hold, 2-zone automatic air conditioning, 12-speaker Infinity sound system, panoramic sunroof with an area of ​​1.2 m2, heated steering wheel/seat, driver's seat with memory/massage/cooling, electric passenger seat, sunshades, 64-color interior decorative lighting, tire pressure warning system, smart driving assistance system that can remember routes and smart parking assistance.

It is not yet clear which engine the Jaecoo J6 in Vietnam will use. Meanwhile, in China, the car has both RWD and AWD versions. The RWD version only has 1 electric motor with 184 horsepower and 220 Nm. The corresponding figures for the AWD version are 279 horsepower and 385 Nm.

In addition, there are 3 types of LFP batteries with capacities of 50.63 kWh, 63.69 kWh and 68.77 kWh, providing a range of 401 - 501 km, depending on the version. The car can use slow AC charging at 6.6 kW and fast DC charging at 60 kW, 80 kW or 85 kW. The battery charging time from 30% to 80% using fast charging is about 30 minutes.

Currently, Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam is selling 3 car models in our country's market, including Omoda C5, Jaecoo J7 and Jaecoo J7 PHEV. All 3 models belong to the B-size SUV segment and use gasoline engines or plug-in hybrid powertrains.
