Need to pay attention to managing and educating young people and preventing violations of the law

Recently, in the province, there have been a number of incidents of teenagers between the ages of 15 and 20 gathering in gangs to cause trouble, fight each other, causing injuries, and even leading to death.

All the incidents happened late at night, stemming from very small conflicts, even conflicts on social networks, groups met with weapons (knives, swords, machetes, sticks, clubs...) to "resolve" them.

Authorities increased patrols at night.

For example, at around 2:24 a.m. on April 25, 2025, a group of 21 young men aged 15 to 20 drove 10 motorbikes carrying weapons (machetes, swords, knives, etc.) to find the group that had beaten them earlier to take revenge. When they reached the Binh Minh intersection, they met 3 young men (aged 16 to 18) riding motorbikes in the opposite direction. Thinking that the group had arranged to slash each other, the group turned around and chased them. When they caught up, they used a machete to nearly cut off the left leg of the boy driving the motorbike, causing the motorbike to crash into the back of a car parked close to the roadside. The boy sitting in the back was seriously injured and died later, while the boy sitting in the middle was slightly injured.

Or on May 4, 2025, due to personal conflicts, the group DTT (born in 2009), P.D.T (born in 2006), TAK (born in 2009) and NHT (born in 2008) all residing in Suoi Ngo commune, Tan Chau district and the group PMT (born in 2005), TNHM (born in 2006), NCM (born in 2007), N.D.H (born in 2006), NVT (born in 2002) all residing in Suoi Day commune, Tan Chau district prepared weapons and called each other to resolve the conflict.

When the two groups were on their way to the meeting point in Suoi Ngo commune, they were discovered and arrested by Suoi Ngo commune police on patrol. If the commune police had not discovered the incident in time, the consequences could have been very serious.

Through investigation and verification, the Police found that the majority of parents and relatives of the children did not care about or manage their children's daily activities, activities, and relationships; they gave their children vehicles (motorbikes) but could not manage their use. After the incident, the legal consequences the children had to bear were very serious, while they were still very young, seriously affecting their future.

In the face of the above situation, Tay Ninh Provincial Police recommends that parents, relatives, and families pay attention to managing their children in terms of daily activities and hours. Do not let children gather late at night, and do not give children vehicles when they are not qualified to drive. Families need to closely coordinate with the Commune, Ward, and Town Police, and local authorities in managing andeducating their children, and preventing violations of the law.

When people discover any violations of the law, they must immediately report them to the local authorities and the nearest police force to prevent them in time, to avoid unfortunate consequences.
