Any doctor, traditional medicine practitioner, or healthcare professional who participates in advertising health food products is violating current laws and regulations.
According to the Food Safety Department of the Ministry of Health , several videos have appeared on social media featuring individuals claiming to be medical staff at major hospitals or traditional medicine practitioners, advertising health supplements as medicines to sell their products.
Clause 2, Article 27 of Decree 15/2018/ND-CP, which provides detailed guidance on the implementation of some articles of the Law on Food Safety, stipulates: "It is prohibited to use images, equipment, uniforms, names, correspondence of medical units, facilities, doctors, pharmacists, medical staff, thank-you letters from patients, articles by doctors, pharmacists, or medical staff to advertise food."
Therefore, any doctor, traditional medicine practitioner, or healthcare professional who participates in advertising health supplement products is violating current laws and regulations.
