Lieutenant General Le Quang Dao chaired a meeting to deploy storm prevention and control work No. 3.

To proactively respond to storm No. 3, the Vietnam Coast Guard has organized to disseminate and implement the instructions of all levels on the prevention and control of storm No. 3. The Coast Guard Command has issued 6 telegrams to direct agencies and units. Strictly maintain the force of vehicles on duty, review plans and solutions for responding to natural disasters and search and rescue; organize reinforcement and bracing of warehouses and garages at key locations of unit barracks; fully supplement the amount of logistical and technical material reserves. Mobilize 20 ships and 19 boats to 7 storm shelter areas to ensure safety; establish 10 mobile teams and 20 cars, 6 ships, 2 boats on duty for rescue and assistance to people.

Vietnam CSB Vocational Training and Development Center cooperated with Binh Minh commune, Hanoi city to organize tree pruning and reinforcement.

In his concluding remarks, Lieutenant General Le Quang Dao requested that units directly affected by storm No. 3 absolutely must not be subjective, be ready and best prepare conditions to proactively prevent, combat and overcome consequences caused by storms and heavy rains according to the motto "4 on-site", "3 ready", "5 proactive" plans for natural disaster prevention and control, ensuring safety of life and health for forces directly performing tasks and safety for officers, soldiers, headquarters, equipment, and working documents of the force.

Prepare equipment and means for disaster prevention, control and search and rescue. Organize on-duty shifts seriously, ensure personnel numbers, be ready to deploy tasks, respond to possible situations, strictly implement information and reporting regimes, have plans to ensure communication, serve command and operation work; establish a rapid response team of your unit to be ready to receive tasks when directed by the command headquarters.
