According to initial information, at around 8:40 a.m. the same day, people discovered a young man acting abnormally, climbing out of the 4th floor window of a hotel on 29/3 Street, continuously screaming, threatening to jump to the ground. Worried that something serious was about to happen, people immediately reported it to the authorities.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Da Nang City Police quickly mobilized forces to the scene and deployed rescue plans. A working group approached from inside the motel, reassured the victim, and provided drinking water and cigarettes to stabilize their psychology. At the same time, another team deployed a safety buoy below and sent a ladder truck to approach from the outside.

After nearly 2 hours of persuasion, despite applying many persuasion measures, the young man was still hesitant and showed signs of losing control. Faced with a prolonged and potentially high-risk situation, the authorities deployed a rope-climbing team from the roof, ready to control the man if necessary. At around 10:25 a.m., the working group inside approached, controlled him and brought him to a safe area.
The young man was initially identified as Tran .LBP (born 2000, residing in Gia Lai province). This person rented a room at the hotel from 0:00 on May 29. The cause of the incident is being further verified and clarified by the authorities.
The incident attracted a large crowd of curious people who gathered to watch and filmed a clip and posted it on social media. The police then stabilized the scene, maintained order, and took the young man for a medical examination.
