Among the nearly 600 types of fake milk that have just been busted by the Ministry of Public Security, there is milk for people with diabetes, kidney failure, premature babies, and pregnant women.

According to the investigation agency, Rance Pharma International Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company and Hacofood Group Pharmaceutical Nutrition Joint Stock Company are the two leading units in organizing the production and trading of fake milk powder products. In order to distribute widely in provinces and cities, the subjects established 9 other companies, including: Group Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, Big Four Pharma International Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, Long Khang Group International Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, BFF Medical Nutrition Joint Stock Company, Safaco Group International Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, Darifa Group International Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, Win CT International Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, Phuc An Khang Pharmaceutical Nutrition Joint Stock Company, Nasaka Asia Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company. In about 4 years, the subjects consumed all kinds of milk on the market, bringing in revenue of nearly 500 billion VND.

The Ministry of Health has just sent an official dispatch to provinces and cities requesting a peak period of inspection, control, and combat against the production and trade of fake drugs, health protection foods, and milk of unknown origin.

While consumers have not yet recovered from their confusion about fake milk, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police continued to dismantle a ring specializing in counterfeiting medicine, arresting 14 subjects. The drugs were produced and hidden in Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City, Vinh Phuc, Hung Yen, An Giang, Dong Thap provinces... Through the search, the police force seized 21 types of modern medicine, fake bone and joint medicine and raw materials for the production of fake drugs, with a total weight of nearly 10 tons. In just 4 years, this group of subjects illegally earned nearly 200 billion VND from fake drugs.

Previously, the story related to the fiber supplement candy product advertised by Quang Linh Vlogs, Hang Du Muc and Miss Thuy Tien caused a stir in public opinion. The police agency determined that the Kera SuperGreens Gummies (Kera candy) food supplement product was counterfeit and had been sold to the market by Chi Em Rot Group Company in 135,325 boxes. The Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency (C01) issued a decision to prosecute the criminal case of "Producing counterfeit food products and deceiving customers", issued a decision to prosecute the accused, and apply temporary detention measures against Nguyen Thi Thai Hang (Hang Du Muc), Pham Quang Linh (Quang Linh Vlogs), Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien (Miss Grand International 2021) and accomplices.

In response to the continuous exposure and handling of counterfeit goods cases in recent times, the Ministry of Health has just sent an official dispatch to provinces and cities directing competent authorities to launch a peak period (from May 15 to June 15) to inspect, control, and combat the production and trade of fake drugs, health protection foods, and milk of unknown origin. In particular, it is necessary to fight and repel crimes of smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, copyright infringement, and infringement of intellectual property rights for drugs, medicines derived from medicinal herbs, cosmetics, food, milk, medical equipment, and household insecticides and disinfectants. In particular, it is necessary to tighten the management of conditional business lines and occupations in the health sector in the area. Thereby, promptly detecting violations and signs of crime to coordinate with functional units to find the root cause, to prevent, handle and recommend prosecution in case of violations according to the provisions of law.

Using safe food, especially milk, medicine, and functional foods, is always the desire and urgent need of people to protect their health. Therefore, along with the active participation of the authorities, people also want a strict legal corridor, strong enough so that the acts of counterfeiting, fake goods, and goods that do not ensure quality and are harmful to people's health will no longer have a "place to live" and will be handled more severely.
