Cat Tien: Summary of Party building work in 2024

(LĐ online) - On the afternoon of November 28, Cat Tien District Party Committee held a conference to review Party building work and the Patriotic Emulation Movement in 2024.

In 2024, Cat Tien District Party Committee continued to innovate and improve the quality and effectiveness of political and ideological education for cadres and party members. Directed party committees and grassroots party organizations to organize the study, dissemination, and development of programs and plans to implement resolutions, directives, regulations, and conclusions of the Central Committee, the province, and the district; strictly implemented Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW dated May 18, 2021 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo (12th tenure) on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle.

Strengthen inspection and supervision of implementation to ensure seriousness, quality and efficiency; focus on guiding Party committees and grassroots organizations to study and apply concrete implementation of Party resolutions in line with the practical situation of agencies, units and localities.

Thereby, the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations continue to be enhanced; the leadership principle is maintained, democracy within the Party continues to be promoted; affirming the political core role of Party organizations in leading and directing the implementation of tasks of agencies, units and localities.

The work of inspection, supervision, and grasping the ideological developments of cadres and party members is given importance and is timely. Party committees and grassroots party organizations continue to innovate the content and methods of leadership over the political system; focus on leadership to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, management and administration of governments at all levels; promote the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in gathering and building the great national unity bloc; improve the quality of supervision, social criticism, and comments on Party building and government building; coordinate propaganda and mobilize people to participate in implementing emulation movements and campaigns to contribute to the successful implementation of targets and tasks in 2024 according to Resolution No. 15-NQ/HU dated December 15, 2023 of the District Party Executive Committee.

In 2024, the District Party Executive Committee and the District Party Standing Committee issued over 900 documents to direct the implementation of tasks; directed grassroots Party organizations, agencies and units to strictly implement the Working Regulations of the District Party Executive Committee and Standing Committee and the Working Regulations of Party committees, Party organizations, agencies and units. Directed the implementation of the preliminary and final review of the implementation of directives and resolutions of higher levels.

Directing grassroots party organizations, agencies and units to register to build new models and creative ways of doing things at all levels of party committees, party organizations, agencies and units; as a result, 67.8% of party committees, party organizations, collectives and 58.3% of individual leaders and managers registered new models and creative ways of doing things in leadership and directing the implementation of tasks at agencies, units and localities; of which, 24 collective models achieved the target out of a total of 41 registered models (58.5%), 18 individual models achieved the target out of a total of 40 registered models (45%). 100% of cadres and party members seriously registered and committed to self-cultivation and training in preventing and repelling signs of degradation in political ideology, morality, lifestyle, and signs of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" according to Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (term XII) and Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW of the 4th Central Committee Conference (term XIII); Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW dated May 18, 2021 of the Politburo (13th tenure) continues to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo (12th tenure) on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle and strictly implement Regulation No. 03-QD/HU dated June 19, 2019 of the District Party Executive Committee, Regulation No. 144-QD/TW dated May 9, 2024 of the Politburo on revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and party members in the new period.

Through assessment, 100% of party organizations were assessed and classified as having fulfilled their tasks well or better; 80/67 new party members were admitted, reaching 119.4% of the plan; 100% of grassroots party committees, grassroots party committees, grassroots party cells, and party cells directly under grassroots party committees developed programs and plans and effectively implemented programs and plans on inspection, supervision, self-inspection, and supervision according to regulations.

On this occasion, Cat Tien District Party Committee also organized a ceremony to reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in performing tasks in 2024.
