Chau Thanh Economic CCB Club: Revenue in the first 6 months of 2023 reached over 4.34 billion VND

Attending the event were Mr. Tran Nuoi - Chairman of the Veterans Club, a former soldier of the Provincial Veterans Association.

In the past 6 months, thoroughly implementing the direction of the Party Committee, the government, and the Executive Committee of the District War Veterans. The War Veterans and Veterans Business Club under the Chau Thanh War Veterans Association maintained 05 clubs, encouraged 08 enterprises, 03 cooperatives, 05 cooperative groups, 01 farm, and 20 households owned by war veterans to fulfill the emulation targets, do business in the right direction, meet market demand, and fulfill tax obligations to the State.

Total revenue reached over 4.34 billion VND, tax payment was nearly 50 million VND, creating jobs for more than 375 employees who are members, children and families of war veterans and veterans in the area.

Participating in the week of “Saving money to join hands for the poor”, the Club achieved over 62.5% of the target for the year. In addition, the Club also organized 02 trips to the source for 529 members of the Club, with a total cost of over 176.8 million VND.

Implementing social security policies, the Club mobilized funds to build 3 new gratitude houses for war veterans, worth 320 million VND, and repair 3 houses, worth 105 million VND.

The club has also supported capital for livestock farming, small business, and seedlings for war veteran members, supported treatment for serious illnesses for poor families, and granted scholarships to poor and studious students with a total amount of over 281.81 million VND.

In addition, during holidays, the Club also organized visits and gave 1,018 gifts to policy families, poor households, and Agent Orange victims with a total amount of over 480 million VND.

With the achievements, the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Veterans Association awarded 03 individuals, and the District Association awarded certificates of merit to 06 Club members.

On this occasion, the War Veterans and Veterans Club of the provincial War Veterans Association awarded the certificate of excellent production and business title of the Central Vietnam War Veterans Association to Mr. Truong Van Ty - Chairman of the War Veterans and Veterans Club of Chau Thanh district and the title of excellent production and business title of the provincial War Veterans Association to 03 members of the Club.
