Through seminars, mobile propaganda, leaflet distribution, community activities, clubs, and thematic talks, the Association has brought close and easy-to-understand propaganda content to each residential area, helping ethnic women and prestigious people in the community easily access and absorb it.

Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Van - President of the Provincial Women's Union said: "We determined that propaganda must go into depth, from awareness to action. The Union at all levels has been flexible and creative in implementing activities, promoting the role of prestigious people to create a strong influence in the ethnic minority community."

The Provincial Women's Union presented Tet gifts to ethnic minority women in Chau Thanh district.

In 2023 and 2024, the Provincial Association coordinated with the Provincial People's Committee Office to organize 20 communication sessions in localities with a large number of ethnic minorities, attracting more than 1,400 participants; distributed more than 9,000 propaganda documents and leaflets. The Association also coordinated with the State Legal Aid Center to organize communication and legal advice for 350 ethnic women, contributing to equipping them with basic legal knowledge to prevent risks and abuse.

The Association at all levels coordinated to establish 13 community communication teams with 158 core members in key areas. In the period of 2023-2024, these teams coordinated with specific models at the grassroots level such as: "Ethnic women with the law", "Women's team against domestic violence among Cham people"... to organize 43 direct communication sessions with content close to and related to real life. The community communication team model is considered an effective bridge, creating a sustainable support network between the Association and the people.

In addition, in order to fundamentally solve the problem of early marriage due to poverty and lack of knowledge, the Provincial Women's Union also focuses on activities to support the livelihoods of ethnic minority women. Through programs such as "Accompanying women in the border areas", the project to support women in starting a business, vocational training for rural women, the Union has implemented many models suitable to local conditions such as raising cows for reproduction, growing clean vegetables, weaving plastic rattan baskets... From 2023 to present, the Union has supported loans for 51 members with a total amount of more than 1.3 billion VND; awarded start-up capital to 49 women with an amount of 300 million VND; provided free medical examination and treatment, and social security support for nearly 350 women, with a total cost of over 3 billion VND".

Women's Union at all levels have been supporting and accompanying ethnic minority women in economic development.

Ms. Thi Sa Ki Da (born in 1978), a Cham Islam ethnic group residing in Quarter 2, Ward 1, Tay Ninh City, shared: “Thanks to the women in the Women's Union who cared for and supported me with my cows for reproduction, my family is very grateful and is taking care of and raising the cows to grow healthy and reproduce well to create a source of income and develop the family economy. I also participated in activities, learned more about the law and encouraged my children and grandchildren not to marry early, and that siblings in the same family should not marry each other.”

In order to effectively prevent and combat child marriage in a sustainable manner, Vice President of the Tay Ninh Provincial Women's Union, Kim Thi Minh, said, "In the coming time, we will continue to strengthen diverse communications, suitable for each region and each ethnic group of women; exploit social networks to spread messages more effectively; create conditions for training and support for livelihoods associated with the economic development of ethnic minority households; increase investment for women starting businesses in remote and border areas; promote the establishment of a coordination mechanism between the Women's Union and functional forces such as the police, judiciary, health, etc. to detect, intervene, and promptly prevent the risks of child marriage; thereby contributing to protecting the rights of girls, while clearly demonstrating the role of the Union in joining hands for the progress and equality of women in ethnic minority areas."
