Welcoming the 1st Congress of Tien Thanh Ward Party Committee, term 2025-2030: Open space for development

1. A few days ago, the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the land fund along both sides of the DT 719B route, the Ham Kiem - Tien Thanh route... These two routes are classified as key projects of the province in the past year, both related to the current Tien Thanh ward. With a length of 25.5 km, the DT 719B route has opened up a very large new space, but recently, the Provincial People's Committee proposed to expand an additional area of 239.27 hectares towards the sea, so the total land fund to be calculated in the upcoming exploitation plan is 1,543.88 hectares. Meanwhile, the Ham Kiem - Tien Thanh route is about 7.7 km long, also expanded by 50 m, about 18.06 hectares to build sidewalks and isolated trees, increasing the total project area to 721.06 hectares. Although not clearly defined, because the two roads are related to other communes and wards, but for Tien Thanh ward, it is like opening a "frontage" on the mainland connecting to the "frontage" that is already the sea.

Moreover, right on the frontage leading to the sea, there is a forest - a production forest of the Hong Phu Forest Management Board, a unit that the Provincial People's Committee has assigned to pilot the construction of an eco-tourism, resort, and entertainment project on the managed forest area in April 2025. Of course, with the Tien Thanh ward area, where the main production forest is acacia cajuput covering an area of 468.74 hectares, close to the NovaWorld tourist area that has been and is being built on a large scale, with a total investment of 6,400 billion VND, it continues to open up another, more attractive development space. These are types of tourism under the forest canopy, bold and adventurous, like blowing a new wind into the sea tourism that has long been gentle, hanging out associated with relaxation, swimming, eating seafood...

Not only that, the Van Thanh bridge under construction, which when completed will help people in Tien Thanh ward and other adjacent communes and wards travel, is also opening up another space, a space of connection. This is the project that most clearly demonstrates the Party's will and the people's hearts, along with 20 other large and small projects in the ward invested from the medium-term public investment capital for the period 2021-2025. Of which, the ward budget is 9,460 million VND, arranged to implement 6 projects, which have been completed and handed over for use; 15 projects are invested from the city budget (old), provincial budget, and central budget, with a total planned investment capital of 1,571,334 million VND. Up to now, 12/15 projects have been basically completed, 2 projects are under construction, and 1 project is preparing for investment.

It is worth noting that while public investment continues, private capital is also quietly being collected and calculated to build projects that people find necessary. In the past 5 years, of the 7 projects supported by the state with a total investment capital of more than 5.1 billion VND, of which private capital is nearly 1.46 billion VND. In addition, 43 projects with 100% private capital have been implemented with a total capital of 630.2 million VND.

With that response, besides the current 285 production, business, and service establishments in the whole ward, people's lives are not always stable, in some places like coastal villages, it is still precarious, that is a valuable thing about the connection and efforts for the common good. Thanks to that, urban infrastructure has been gradually invested in and built, projects with 100% capital contributed by the people have been actively implemented, partially resolving the urgent and legitimate aspirations of the people.

And that spirit, when placed in the open space that is emerging with Tien Thanh, will create a good premise for sufficient conditions to achieve the goals set for the next 5 years.
