On the morning of October 2, speaking with Dan Tri reporter, the Commander of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Long Bien District Police ( Hanoi ) said that at around 7:30 p.m. on October 1, a fire broke out at a car wash machine shop on Nguyen Van Linh Street (Gia Thuy Ward, Long Bien District).

After receiving the news, Gia Thuy ward authorities coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Long Bien District Police to dispatch many fire trucks and officers to the scene to put out the fire and search and rescue.
At around 10:30 p.m. on October 1, the fire was brought under control and extinguished. Police then continued to spray water to cool it down.
"Fortunately, the fire did not cause any human casualties. The incident has been handed over to the authorities to continue investigating the cause." Commander of Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team, Long Bien District Police informed.

At the scene, black smoke from the fire rose tens of meters high.
Witnesses said the store was closed at the time of the fire. Within minutes, flames erupted through the store’s rolling door, accompanied by an explosion inside.
