Artists David Mignonneau and Michaëla Chariau perform |
Fergessen is a band consisting of two French male and female artists, David Mignonneau and Michaëla Chariau. They are talented and passionate musicians, singers, and music producers. “The audience comes out of their concert soaked like the artists on stage and extremely excited because the artists possess a tremendous source of energy, and that energy is regenerated when the audience gradually liberates themselves…” (Weekly La voix de l'Ain).
Fergessen's impressive songs include Ex Aequo, Les Amants, Nos palpitants, Old Is Beautiful, etc. In Hanoi , Fergessen performed at the Monsoon Music Festival 2023 with the message: "feeling life, continuing inspiration". The program took place from October 14 to October 22, with the participation of another French artist - DJ Sun Jun.
Electro-rock is a music genre that combines the wild, passionate features of rock with the modern, modern EDM. This genre of music was born in the late 60s when rock bands like The United States of America, White Noise and Gong began to mix electronic melodies into their songs. By the late 2000s, Eletro-rock became increasingly popular and affirmed its position on the world music map.

Moments of "burning together" between artists and audience |
Students from Hue University of Foreign Languages "burned themselves out" during the performance of two artists, filling the empty seats despite the heavy rain outside. David Mignonneau and Michaëla Chariau exploded on stage, braving the rain to bring the audience the most satisfying performances. They have a liberal, approachable and professional style.
Many young people approached the stage to interact and dance to the vibrant melodies of the song. The atmosphere was jubilant and full of life. In just over an hour of performance, Fergessen left a special impression in the hearts of young audiences in Hue. After the performance of the two French artists, Hue University of Foreign Languages continued the program with an EDM performance to welcome new students of the 2023-2024 school year.
2023 is a year of active activities for the French Institute of Vietnam in general and the French Institute of Hue in particular, continuously organizing cultural, artistic, entertainment, educational activities, etc. in response to the 50th anniversary of Vietnam - France diplomatic relations. Before Fergessen's Eelectro-rock music night, music events by French artists took place in Hue, such as the piano-violin duet of two artists Maxime Zecchini and Chuong Vu, the pop-rock concert of the band The Rodeo, etc.
In particular, the Hue By Light-The Live Show program closes the series of events celebrating the 50th anniversary of France-Vietnam diplomatic relations taking place on December 12, 2023 at Hue Imperial City.
