Big fire at scrap factory in Da Nang

On the morning of March 31, a major fire broke out at a scrap yard in group 33 (Hoa Tho Tay ward, Cam Le district, Da Nang ).

The fire spread quickly because the factory contained many flammable materials such as plastic and paper.

Immediately afterwards, people shouted and tried to put out the fire, but there were many flammable materials inside the factory, so the fire quickly spread, creating a column of black smoke hundreds of meters high. Facing the risk of the fire spreading, many people promptly moved flammable materials such as gas cylinders out of the scrap yard.

Smoke and fire rose fiercely at the factory area.

According to the reporter, the fire engulfed a factory of about 2,000 square meters. The fire was large and black smoke rose hundreds of meters high, visible from many areas in surrounding districts.

Upon receiving the news, the authorities dispatched eight fire trucks to the scene along with nearly 100 people to put out the fire. At this time, the police split into several directions to break down the corrugated iron fence surrounding the factory to spray water to put out the fire.

Eight fire engines were dispatched to the scene to put out the fire.

After about two hours of firefighting efforts, the fire was basically under control. Initial damage was recorded, the fire collapsed some metal roofs at the factory, and items inside were burned.
